What are your top ones?? Sorting now where to eat when we go 3 nights 4 days staying at SL.

So far thinking of eating first night at Chucks Wagon, 2nd night, Rendez vous de stars no idea for 3rd night and on last day lunch at Lucky Nugget as going home about 6pm.

Wanting to get the most from our HB+ vouchers so reccomendations please

Thanks

Hi there, when we are there we tend to eat in the village each night and then a bit of shopping. Have never actually eaten in the hotels only breakfast. We love Planet Holywood, Annettes is great for atmosphere and Rainforest for the children.

Hi,

Only ever snacked in the parks and McD's as haven't as yet stayed in one of the Disney hotels nor had the budget to do anything else. Not able to advise but was wondering where or what is Chuck's Wagon?

Our three favourites would be Cafe Mickeys (really good pizza among many other things), King Ludwigs (had really good food there and it isn't talked about much, but you can't use your HB vouchers there as it's not on the dining plan) and probably Annettes.

My 3 favourites are California Grill (a must every trip), Inventions and Walts. Cafe Mickey is also great for characters.

Why is the steakhouse a must do on a Sunday? We are going on Sunday and by what we have read think we will go to Annetes, California Grill, and Maybe steakhouse or Rainforest/Planet hollywood

There's a character brunch at The Steakhouse on Sunday. It's a buffet with the characters and it is very highly recommended by members of this board!

Thanks for answering.

Any idea how much that costs?

I'm not sure, I think it's about 34 Euro for adults? I'm not certain though. If you go into the restaurant reviews at the top of the board and check out the Chicago Steakhouse, it might be in that thread.... :goodvibes

You will love the Lucky Nugget, it's one of our favourites and your HB+ vouchers will cover the buffet cost.
Some of the restaurants mentioned above, California Grill, Cafe Mickey, Inventions will not be covered in full with your vouchers, although you could use them at face value and pay the extra.
The Chicago Steakhouse is very nice and does have a HB+ menu, so you'd be OK with that one. However, whether the Sunday Brunch there will accept your vouchers is dubious as a recent visitor reported that they would not accept them at face value, because of the inclusion of alcohol on the buffet.
Walt's also has a HB+ menu, but we've never eaten there so can't comment, although it has had good reviews.
Rendez vous des stars does look good and we're hoping to try it next time and will be fully covered by your HB+ vouchers in fact HB standard will cover it, Plaza Gardens, Agrabah Cafe and Annette's are also worth considering and standard vouchers would cover the cost of those too, again luck of the drawer but some visitors have reported using HB+ vouchers and having been given a voucher back in lieu of the cost difference.
Billy Bob's in the village is another that is covered by HB+ and again one we are hoping to visit in March.
Hope that helps. :)

Forgot to say as you're staying at SL I would choose to eat at the SL restaurant rather than at the Cheyenne's restaurant (Chuck Wagon Cafe), you'd be kind of downgrading if you did that :)

The reason I have picked Chucks wagon is from the good reviews it has got but Hunters Grill at SL has had mixed.

Anyone eat there recently?? Can you update me please??

Ta
