CRT Breakfast
1900 Park Fare Bfast
Garden Grill - so laid back - we love this for a mid week break!!

bottom three

Based only on our recent dining plan trip:

Top 3:
1. Yachtsman :earseek:
2. Le Cellier :rotfl:
3.Grand Floridian Cafe princess:
Runners Up: Cape May, Kona Cafe, Prime Time (Must like the "cafes")

Bottom 3:
1. Concourse (only so-so) :rotfl2:
2. Castle
3. ?????

Can't complain much-we really liked them all, but in comparison some were great and the bottom ones were only o.k

Top Three
Whispering Canyon - WL
San Angel Inn (indoor restaurant in Mexico) - EPCOT
Brown Derby - MGM

Worst Three
Mama Melroses - MGM I really didn't like it, my family is italian and Mama's is just not italian in my mind.

Biergarten - Germany, we have eaten at the main restaurant in Italy, Mexico, Canada, UK, and Germany and Germany just did not stand out at all.

Boma - Don't crucify me, but I really did not enjoy this at all, and I have eaten a lot of ethnic food (including Moroccan in the REAL Morocco)

Oh, I had completely forgotten about how horrible Biergarten was.

Can I change my answer? :teeth:

Top 3:
Victoria and Alberts
Jiko
Citrico's
With about 8 other close contenders

Bottom 3:
Fultons
Fultons
Fultons
All in honor of the 3 bad dinners we had here.

Top three for me:

Brown Derby (MGM)
Ohana (Poly resort)
Le Cellar (EPCOT)

Worst for me:

Sci-fi diner for dinner
(stick with lunch because the place is cool to experience)

Nine Dragons (EPCOT)

Shrimp Lo Mein (at Pop Century food court)

Best would be Bomas, Chef de France,
Spoodles. Le Cellier( Ok so I made it four:) :sunny:

Worst would be:

1)Sci Fi ( I got so sick I actually had to miss dinner at the Flying Fish!)

Who puts a garlic sauce on a lobster ( boiled ) dinner Yuck!
or Big River Grille and Brewing Works( haven't tryed this place in years
it was so bad( kids PBJ was a frozen commercial one that hadn't even finished thawing out. :confused3

Top three...

Jiko
Bistro de Paris
Artist Point

Bottom Three...

Morrocco - the absolute worst!
Tony's Town Square - not inedible, just very blah and overpriced.
Sci-Fi Drive-in - horrible, non-existant service. The only WDW restaurant I have ever walked out of before eating.

Dishonorable mention -

1900 Park Fare - food and service were fine, but it was the noisiest, messiest, lowest chartacter-interaction ever. Have never had a more unpleasant meal at WDW.

Best:
CA Grill
JIKO
Spookles
Olivia's

Worst:
Sci-Fi
Chef Mickeys
Mama Melrose
Brown Derby

Best (no special order):

Le Cellier
California Grill
Liberty Tree (lunch), although we had bad service last time so if it keeps up, it's off the list.

Honorable mentions: Writer's Stop cafe in MGM. They had really good cookies and pastry.

Grand Floridian Cafe- overall, the food was quite good, but there were a couple of off things in the meal. We'd go back.

Worst (worst is subjective- the food here is edible and we'll certainly eat at these places, but they're not anywhere we're ever enthusiastic about going to...)

Pop Food Court (dinner)
ABC Commissary
Pecos Bill's

3/4 Best
Flying Fish - Board Walk - No question, one of our best meals ever at WDW.
LeCellier - Canida - Food was excellent. I heard the steak house at the Yacht Club was good also. Maybe even better.
Cinderella's Castle - Very good food - most of the time.

4 Worst
Laou at - Polynesian
Whispering Cafe - Wilderness Lodge
San Angels - Mexico
50's PT Cafe - Disney Studio's PAST - Food, Service Good - Recent Food, Service not good at all.

This is difficult,

Best:
1. Le Cellier
2. Narcoosees
3. Tie between 50's Prime Time and WCC

Hello,

I am planning my ADRs for our upcoming trip in January. Just thought I'd do a quick opinion poll to make sure I hit the great restuarants and miss the not so great ones. it will just be me and my husband going on what is our first visit to WDW.

Thanks so much for any information.

Wow! I did not stop and count, but I think that every restaurant that showed up on someone's top 3 best, also showed up on someone else's top 3 worst! :confused3

I rate restaurants only by food quality... if you stated what your criteria were it might be more helpful...

Since EPCOT opened, our favorite restaurant year-after-year was Akershus... since the princess thing, we have not gone, and have not been since they changed back a couple weeks ago... so I can't say how it is now.

Then, when Animal Kingdom Lodge opened, Boma became our favorite... consistently.

Best from last trip (1st week September) are: :goodvibes

Boma
Citricos
Mitshukoshi Teppanyaki
Chefs De France

Restaurants I will NEVER try again :sad2:

Liberty Tree Tavern
Brown Derby
Sci Fi Theatre
Hollywood & Vine
50's Prime Time
Cinderella's Royal Table
Le Cellier
Nine Dragons
Coral Reef

I pretty much avoid everything at MK and at MGM except for Tomorrowland Noodle Station.

Brygida

Best Experiences
1) Artist Point
2) Alfredo's
3) Brown Derby

Worst
1) 'Ohanas (meat was really dry, and I didn't care for the Sizzler-esque atmosphere)
2) Whispering Canyon (just mediocre)
3) Rose N Crown
I'd be willing to give all of these another shot though.

Best:
Bistro de Paris
Artist Point
Narcoossee's
Le Cellier
Boma

Underwhelming (somone else used this word and I think it fits here):
Jiko - service was awful and food was just ok.
Hoop De Doo - food not great and show was bad (we walked out in the middle). I know a group that got really sick from eating there.
Ohana - hate to say it. I like Polynesian food and decor, but food wasn't great. Service was ok.
Morocco - I love couscous, but we make better couscous at home. Food was bland and we just weren't thrilled with the experience. But it's been a while and maybe we'll try it again one day.

We only ate a few places in the 'World'

Good:
LTT-- We had my dm surprise birthday lunch here. I REALLY enjoyed the William Tell pasta, and my dm really enjoyed her chocolate bday cake. :)

"Ehh":
BD at MGM-- I'm probably in the minority but I did NOT like the Brown Derby, and there is nothing really on the menu for those of us chicken eaters. Mostly steak and fish with foo-foo descriptions. lol :teeth: The deserts didn't even sound appetizing. I got the Thai Noodle bowl and I was NOT impressed. Tasted like a Budget Gourmet Chinese frozen dinner. I think if they used a firmer tofu it would had been a 100 times better.

Thanks to the folks on the DIS and the menus on allearsnet.com, we did not have a terrible dining experience our whole 10 days at WDW.

The weakest meal was the Cape May Clambake. I knew in advance that it wouldn't be fabulous, but it was very convenient (we were staying at YC). The non-clam bake food was quite good-it was just the seafood that was bad.

The meal that disappointed me most was the Brown Derby. First, let me say that it was the most expensive. The atmosphere was very cool. We all liked our appetizers and desserts. The entrees ranged from bland to dry to inedible. I SO wanted to love it, but we didn't.

Best? I guess Le Cellier. Our kids (14, 12 and 9) would say 1) Mama Melroses, and 2) Liberty Tree Tavern.

Special recogntion goes to the Earl of Sandwhich for having REAL WORLD (as opposed to Disney World) prices...so refreshing!
