Top 3 attractions for a 3-4 year old?

For my little one, it has alwasy been the Gadget Go Coaster in Toontown. She's kind of a daredevil, though. Her next favorite was Winnie the Pooh. This upcoming trip will be the first time she can ride the 40" and up rides, so it will be interesting to see what she thinks. When my son was 3, we thought his favorite was Buzz's Astroblasters because he wanted to ride it over and over, but the next year he told us he actually was scared of the ride because there is a pterodactyl that flies overhead and he thought it would break loose. He had been riding it because it freaked him out!

Be careful of Nemo if your child is skittish - it is DARK and the story line is murky, too.

I would say Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, and Small world

I think all the outside rides they love-

Tea cups, Dumbo, Storyboats, Jungle Cruise

Tamer dark rides-
Pooh, Small World, Peter Pan, Train with Primeval World section

Approach with caution-
Scary Adventures of Snow White, Nemo Subs, POTC, HM

To nominate I would say Buzz, Autopia, and Jungle Cruise however my 4 year old's favorites when we went in September were Buzz, Star Tours and Tower of Terror (Followed closely by Snow White). Go figure! It's just each kids individual personality which will determine their top 3! Start easy and go from there. At the beginning of our trip Winnie the Pooh scared my son and by the end he was loving Tower of Terror...we just kept telling him it was all pretend and just for fun and he wouldn't get hurt...it sunk in eventually. We never presured him to go on something he didn't want to and we started slowley with really small easy rides.

Good luck,

It really depends on the kid. My 2 1/2 yr old ds LOVED POTC (as in wants to go on it all day every day), Matterhorn, and Buzz. My 4 1/2 yr old dd would probably say Peter Pan, the Carousel, and the teacups but nothing was as wonderful to her as meeting the princesses and fairies.

When my youngest dd went last she was 4 (1 month shy of 4). She loved POTC, HM (it had the Nightmare Before Christmas theme up), and the Astro Orbitor. She went on each of them easily 3 times each (over a 2 day period).

Basing this off our two girls from when they were that age. Small World, Peter Pan, and Dumbo. And just throwing this in but it is not a ride, Fantasmic. Both of our girls were enamored with it. One of our favorite memories was when our oldest saw it for the first time, she stood up at the end and was screaming that, "Mickey's GREAT!!!" over and over. And you know what? She's right.

The reason I wouldn't have rated Dumbo and Peter Pan is because the lines are usually very long and slow. So while the rides are great (well, Peter Pan anyway), the overall attraction experience is so-so (IME, with an anxious and impatient preschooler).

The Pooh ride, Peter Pan, and Casey Jr. These are the rides my kids particularly liked at that age.

My 3 year old found a way to get terrified on Winnie the Pooh. There is no rhyme or reason when it comes to 3 year olds and favorite attractions. My little guy's top 3 were Roger Rabbit, Toy Story Midway Mania, and Autopia. I think he was okay with Roger Rabbit because he didn't know anything about that movie and didn't know to be scared of the weasels, where as on rides like Snow White and Peter Pan he knew to be scared of the villian.

My girls loved Peter Pan (they still talk about the stars), IASW and Buzz the most. We took them on POTC when we first got there because we had reservations at BB and the line happened to be really short. I hadn't been on it in like 20 years and didn't remember it as being scary at all. I forgot that there were spooky voices and skulls and bones everywhere, although I'm not sure how much of it was added during the refurb after the movie. It took awhile for them to trust me that rides (esp dark ones) weren't scary and dangerous, lol, so be careful to ease them into it all.

My 3.5 YO DD loved Star Tours (completely obsessed with it!), Soarin' and Splash Mountain. We had to go on Star Tours at least once every.single.day. I can't bear to tell her that next time she gets to DL, it won't be the same.

She absolutely hated POTC, cried throughout the whole ride. DD also didn't mind Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy - go figure.

My little guy's top 3 were Roger Rabbit.

That's so funny. My DD2 was scared on Roger Rabbit, the only ride we went on that she was scared, she just wanted to close and cover her eyes. She loved HM, POTC, Alice, Pinnochio, Winnie the Pooh, Astro Orbitor, basically everything that she could go on. Just goes to show you, as pp said, it all depends on the child.
