WOW..great thread...

I am finally going to do Jellyrolls after 30 trips to Disney...you convinced me!

We now stay Jan, Feb, Mar. just south of Disney and our favs are:

1. Illuminations with a Margarita from the outdoor stand at Mexico

2. Seeing Festival of Lion King for the umteenth time and then Dinner at Boma's

3. Tower of Terror with folks who have never been on it before!

Peace...Grandpa Ted

We're staying at the Boardwalk next month for the Food & Wine Festival (#1 favorite adult WDW event) and we must try Jellyrolls this time. We have also not tried Comedy Warehouse or Adventurer's Club. I can't believe it! Here are our official 3 favorite adult activities:

1. Staying at an Epcot Deluxe Resorts for great Epcot access
2. Fine dining (Artist Point, Flying Fish, Yachtsman)
3. Drinking around the World - in restaurants, walk-up stands, pool-bars

Where and what is the "adventurers club?"

15 days and a wake up before our next Disney trip

The Adventures Club is in Pleasure Island. It is a wild, and wacky place with eccentric characters walking around, interacting with the guests (us!). They put on short skits in different rooms, and sometimes get the guests involved. I never miss it when we go to WDW! :rotfl2: Bob

So I guess you have to use a (+) for admission to Pleasure Island for this? Do you think it is much better than Jelly rolls? I hate to use a (+) for it knowing we could use it for a whole day at a water park if you can have just as much fun at Jelly rolls.
Thanks for your input

I personally have never been there but my son (39) has and he said it's not all that and it takes FOREVER to get another drink. But everyone else on the board seems to think it's great so maybe he was just there on a bad day or it was extremely busy. However, remember you can stroll around Pleasure Island and listen to the different bands and have drinks without having to pay anything. You only have to pay if you want to go into the clubs.

1. Food & Wine Festival
2. Flower Festival concerts (the Rascals were great this year!)
3. Watching Mo'Rockin' with a glass of champagne
Also, watching Eliott Dyson perform at POFQ until midnight
Of course, JellyRolls

Does the Beach Club have a rock band? Is there a link where I can find out info on this? Never mind, I figured out it was the Beach Club at Pleasure Island. I was hoping that the Yacht & Beach Club had entertainment like POFQ.

My top 3 favorites are

1) Drinking around the world

2) Massage at the Grand Flo.

3) Late nite magic hours

i left out the obvious PI cos it seems to be such a common occourance

P.S. Cirque du Solei is also very high on my list

My three "Adult Things " to do at Disneyworld are

1. Adventurer's Club
2. Stolling through Downtown Disney with DH
3. Going to get massages together at Grand Floridian on our honeymoon

He's right, it does take forever to get another drink. I think they have far fewer serving staff than they used to, and sometimes it takes forever to get a drink at all. But sometimes it IS all that. Of course, I'm sure it's not everyone's thing.

If you just want to check it out, many times they have a free period between 7 and 9. After 9 you must pay PI admission.

Adventurer's Club
Comedy Warehouse
Prime Time Cafe

Must see Jellyrolls on my next visit.

im hearing a lot about jelly rolls. i have been to disney many many times before, but previously to this year, the last time i went, i was only 17. now i am goin' on 23 in november and i'm goin' to disney this oct, and next may for the honeymoon-i'm finally old enough to drink! hence, i've never been to jelly rolls before. what's all the noise about? i'm interested!

I've never been there either and would need to be enticed away from the AC so I'm waiting to see this.

Here's mine:
surrey bike ride around POR
resort hopping!
grabbing a boat at just the right time to watch the fireworks from the lake! BEAUTIFUL!
We also loved the carriage ride! Very quiet, and we went right as the sun was setting. Oh, gosh, it was perfect. We got to see the sunset behind the castle. GORGEOUS!

It's SO hard to pick just three!
1) Dining at Jiko followed by enjoying a glass of wine while relaxing in the rocking chairs in one of the savannah viewing areas, listening to the African music in the background.

2) Relaxing on a tube floating down the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon. I know kids love the water parks too, but it is so much more relaxing during adult only trips, when you don't need to constantly be watching the little ones around the water.

3) Pleasure Island
