Top 10 Table Service Restaurants for Kids

Here is what our kids have always enjoyed!
DS6 (also autistic), DS9, DS12

Liberty Tree Tavern (a more relaxed character meal, not too noisy or frantic........my boys love the turkey, macaroni and cheese, and the honey butter served with the rolls)
Teppanyaki (Japan Epcot.....love the onion volcano)
San Angel Inn (Mexico in Epcot....they love the atmosphere and the chips!)
Boma at the AKL (they love the fresh fruit, flat breads, pork roast in Coca Cola Syrup, and dessert selections at dinner)

They also enjoyed the Sci-Fi but we had our parents there so we could each have our own car (the cars only seat four and we are family of five)

I completely disagree about Sci-Fi, they have the best burgers! And onion rings! We usually do a late lunch there, since we are not usually at MGM the whole day. It is one of our favorites and a must do every trip! The atmosphere is one of the most unique on property. I don't eat red meat, except for once a year at Sci Fi!

WCC is a fun place & the food's ok for kids & adults. They have an all you can eat skillet with barbecue beef, ribs & chicken

We did Chef Mickey's for breakfast. It was fantastic. Food was great and the Character interaction was top notch. :cool1:

My daughters favorite was Akershus Princess Storybook Dinner in Norway at Epcot. If your daughter likes the princesses this is well worth it. Princesses we saw:
Cinderella
Jasmine
Ariel
Aurora(sleeping beauty)
Belle

I would re think the planet hollywood dinner.
Food is lousy and not really great disney atmosphere.

I agree with another poster about LTT. My kids liked it as well

I second O'Hana. My family's favorite! They have entertainment by one of the most beloved CM's on property. Coconut races, limbo, and the food...OH!!! THE FOOD!!!! I can't decide if I like the shrimp, wings, potatoes, or that peanut sauce the best...or the bread pudding!!! YUM-O!

Our faves are:

Wolfgang Puck
Le Cellier
Chef Mickey
1900 Park Fare
Crystal Palace

We are also trying Ackerhaus this next time, Raglan Road. I agree about Planet Hollywood. We did it last time becuase of the $15 voucher. The food was horrid. The service was terrible. I never plan on going back there again! (and we had eaten there a couple other times on prevoius trips with good luck.)

Coral Reef was cool. DH didnt think it was worth it (food wise) to do it again this time, but we will go back there again on a future trip! (The kids loved the aquarium though!).

This is so much fun, I love reading everyones faves!

Here is our family's...

O'hana
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Faire
Liberty Tree Tavern

I just wanted to add in here that Whispering Canyon Cafe and 50's Prime Time ARE fun, but if you have shy kids, you may want to avoid these places. The CM's make guests a part of the show. Some people love this, however my step kids for example would be stunned into comas if someone they didn't know told them to eat their greenbeans or get their elbows off the table! They'd think they had actually done something wrong, even if we explained it was all part of the "fun". They are both pretty shy in new situations. WCC in particular can get VERY rowdy.

Just wanted to get that in there so you could make an informed decision!:goodvibes

We're booked at Sci Fi forsupper and PH! I've heard the burgers are great also onion rings and milkshakes, but I know the kids want steak 'they are on adult ddp, can you get it without sauce or on the side? I'm also hoping we can get the milkshake as a drink have heard it depends on cm! As for PH ..DD is convinced she'll see STARS there, so I doubt she cares what the foods like.We are not gourmet eaters and actually like buffets, Applebees etc .so might well like the food!

OK I polled my kids :rotfl2:

Marrakesh
CRT
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickeys
and Le Cellier for their cute waiters!

I think you'd enjoy O'hana. They have a coconut race for the kids.

Our favorites are:
Chef Mickey's
O'hana

We're trying the following for this upcoming trip:
Crystal Palace
Sci-Fi

This year, we'll be eating (FREE!!!) at:

Chef Mickey's - breakfast
50's Prime Time - dinner
German Biergarten (because PaPa was born in Germany) -dinner
O'Hana's - dinner

O'Hana's is a do not miss for us - it is so pretty at the Poly and the dinner is fun with the parades, coconut races and never-ending skewers of food!

You'll have fun with all the choices that you have made - although, personally I would skip out on Planet Hollywood - they have OK food and you can eat at another PH elsewhere.
