There’s not much incentive to go above & beyond when guests are beating down the doors with reservations in hand. This applies to both U & WDW
While there is still some degree of staffing & supply chain issues in play, in my mind it’s offered as an excuse to cut corners .
Not to say there still aren’t stellar offerings to be had. Just that it is disappointing to see many decline so very sharply.
It pains me that the quality & overall experience has been decidedly more miss than hit in many of the theme parks’ venues that we enjoyed in the past.
Inconsistency has also become an issue. Repeat visits to same restaurant, during same trip, have been on both ends of the spectrum.
Not so much when dining at our old favorites off-site. Majority of those places we have frequented are hustling and seem genuinely happy for our patronage.
If enough people would vote with their feet, I do expect things would quickly improve
