My family (dh, ds and myself) wants to try a meal and their shakes here. Does Toothsome take reservations and how do you make them? I've checked opentable and the universal website with no luck.

Also my daughter will be there with her high school and she want's us to bring her a shake inside the parks. Does the parks allow the shakes inside their parks? I ask because in the videos we've seen, it looks like the shakes come in glass containers. Does toothsome offer a plastic container for their shakes? I wish we could just pull her out of the park but it's against school policy.

Thanks

They do not take reservations.
The containers are plastic, not glass. I do not know if they allow them in the park

I was there last week at about 5:30 one day last week and tried to make a booking for 8:30 that evening but they said they were 'fully booked' that evening so I think they do have some sort of reservation system in place.

We did go and get some sundaes instead which were amazing!

Couple of things ...

- You can get milkshakes at the to-go counter. And yes, you can take them in the parks and on the boats. At least, I saw several people doing so in April.
- No advanced reservations for dining, but you can get your name on their list super early ... thus the "fully booked" comment
- The food is good, but the ice cream and chocolate specials are the bomb ... all of which is available at the counter. So even if you can't get a table, you still win.

When we went, we split the food and shakes into two separate visits. The food was so good that we were way too stuffed to enjoy anything else. We came back the next day and had shakes for lunch from the to-go counter. :)

What's "super early"? For instance, if I want to do lunch as soon as they start at 11am, how early can I get on the list? Or is it better to just show up say 15-30 minutes before they open? Do they usually have a long line that early for lunch? Sorry for all of the questions. It wasn't opened yet last time we went. Thanks

DH and I went for lunch a couple weeks ago. Got there about 11:00 and were seated right away. They were basically empty (it was a weekday) the entire time we were there.

The couple of times I've done early lunch, they didn't have a crowd waiting prior to opening at 11:00 so I don't know if they change operations when there's more of a summer crowd or not. I've only ever been in slow-ish seasons. If you want to make sure, I'd say 15 minutes before opening would do the trick. For dinner you want to get there WELL ahead of when you want to eat and get your number on the text back list. When it's busy I understand you could be waiting well over an hour and a half for dinner seating. And at some point the list gets long enough that they just call it "booked up."

I figured lunch would be less busy. Plus, we will be at Volcano Bay in the evening. Hopefully, they aren't terribly busy. Thanks
