Hi all.

Can you use a Universal gift card to pay at Toothsome and Cowfish? Trying to finalize my budget and it would be nice to just have the money put aside already for our meals at these 2 locations.

We use the Mardi Gras food cards at both places so I’m sure you’d be fine unless they are merchandise gift cards.

Yup, you can use universal gift cards everywhere in the parks and city walk. (not merchandise ones).

Yes.

AFAIK, the merchandise gift cards are only the ones given as incentives in the gift stores on property, ie when you buy a certain $ of merchandise gift cards you get a free wand. Those are specifically for merch and not food, hotels, etc.

This is my first time at Universal so I have no idea how things work there. Staying at Endless Summer Surfside and only doing HHN. Toothsome our arrival day and Cowfish before HHN are our only other plans!

If you haven't already, I would suggest making reservations for those meals. There should be plenty of availability now to pick your ideal times - that will change as the dates near. You can always make changes later & there's no deposit or anything for a reservation.

Already have them! But thank you for the tip. I just decided to check one day and saw I could book them so I did.
