My son just lost his front tooth is there anything the BWV help with as tinkerbell dust etc? Just wondering?

you could always ask at the front desk if there is anything. the first time we were at Disney DD 8 at the time was still in the land of the believers so when she lost her tooth I told her to pack it up as Tinkerbell was very territorial and there was no way she would let any other "Fairy" into her area.:lmao: We took it home and the toothfairy left a nice little chunk of change with a note thanking her for saving it for her.;) of course this was before Tink had her Fairy friends along.

Just thought of it. Sending the other half downstairs to see if they still sell disney dollars and to get some pressed pennies!:dance3:

Check with the front desk I know they will do something special for you!!

this was my problem in December... almost! DD's tooth was very loose but didn't come out. She kept asking if Tinkerbell would visit her since she might lose her tooth.:wizard:

Let us know if the desk does anything special or what you decide to do. How fun!

My DS 7 lost a tooth last week when we were at Kidani. He is a huge pin collector and loves Stitch. So instead of $, the toothfairy left him a 2011 Stitch pin under his pillow! Saved the toothfairy 10 bucks! (going rate now is $20 in this household) ;)

20 US dollars? Really?

If you need any more kids, you can have mine.

Geese. My poor deprived children ;););) still get a dollar...although it is a special gold dollar.

We ended up buying $5.00 in Disney money. And no the front desk did not offer any assistants.

I got .25 for my teeth. My kids got $1.00. But this thread reminds me of the time my youngest DD was eating pizza and said, "Mom, does pizza have bones?" "No bones in pizza that I know of." "Then I just lost my tooth!" :thumbsup2

When my DD lost her tooth in Disney Tinkerbell left a trading pin under her pillow. And of course the hardest part was purchasing it without her seeing us do it!

My suggestion is to speak with the front desk (at least that worked at the Polynesian last month).

When we checked in, my daughter asked whether the tooth fairy came to WDW or whether it was Tinkerbell territory. They told her that Tink would come if she lost her tooth.

Long story short, she lost her tooth, but we were unable to secretly purchase a Tinkerbell souvenir for her, as we were packing to leave a day early (to avoid SNOWMAGEDDON on the east coast).

I went down to the front desk and told them what had happened and to see if they had any Tink pictures. They said that they didn't, but were nice enough to go into the back and tracked down a Tinkerbell - Year of a Million Dreams pin from a few years ago.

We told our daughter that because we were checking out that day, that the hotel would send an email to Tink letting her know that she should come to our house, rather than the hotel room.

Anyway, all's well that ends well.

So... my long winded answer to your short question, is that it never hurts to ask.

P.S. (for jakeandsamsmom) - $20???? We thought that we were being overly generous with $5. Can my kid come live with you until she loses the rest of her teeth?

We had a feeling DS would be losing a front tooth during our trip, and he did. That day was our relaxation day (he lost the tooth waiting for the boat from WL!) and we were going to DTD that night for the Lego Store. So after he figured out what he was getting, I "forgot" something in the store, ran back in, and bought a Harry Potter minifig keychain. Along with the 2 golden dollar coins that's normal, Tinkerbell left the keychain hanging from the doorknob of our room. :)

When we were on our Disney cruise our son lost a tooth. Our server was kind enough to have an "autographed photo" of Mickey and Friends sent to our room. We didn't ask for it or anything though. I'll bet the front desk would have something similar, but you could always purchase something special to fit under the pillow.

One year when our daughter lost a tooth in Disney, we got Disney Dollars and put them under the pillow with a "note" from tinkerbell. Our daughter thought that was the best!
