tooth fairy on the Magic?

we are getting ready to leave for our very first Disney cruise!! and my DD8 has a very loose tooth. She is VERY concerned about losing the tooth onboard the ship because she doesnt know how the tooth fairy will find her out at sea.

I told her I would post a message here to see if the Disney Magic has its own resident tooth fairy or if Tinkerbell has been known to step in and help out in a pinch.

Most definintely, let Guest Services know of the event and they will make sure that Tinkerbell or DD's favorite character knows about it. She will be pleasantly surprised.

We were on a cruise a few years ago and the little boy sitting with us at dinner lost his tooth, the parents weren't DISers, so I told them go to go Guest Services and the little boy got a toy stuffed Goofy after he lost his tooth. They were very excited.

My DD lost a tooth on the Magic this past December. She was concerned as well. I told her Tinkerbell would be sure to let the Tooth Fairy know that she lost a tooth! We placed the tooth in a glass near her bed. In the morning, not only did the Tooth Fairy leave her the usual 2 $1 gold coins, but there was a $5 bill too. I guess if you lose a tooth on vacation, the Tooth Fairy has extra surprises for you! I think Tinkerbell is in big time with the Tooth Fairy (Molinator)!

My ds10 lost a tooth on board when he was about 6. I went to guest services after reading on here about receiving pixie dust. They gave me an envelope filled with it and told me to give it to our stateroom host. I went ahead and gave it to our stateroom host on our way to dinner and told him about my son's lost tooth and asked him to please sprinkle it while we were gone. I don't think he must have understood what I asked because when we got back, there was our towel animal holding the envelope on our son's bed! My DH and I had a good laugh and I managed to sprinkle it when DS was asleep. DS14 lost his last baby tooth about a year ago on debarkation day as we were ready to leave the stateroom to head to the terminal. He pulled it and some how lost it. Yep, we couldn't find it anywhere after searching high and low. I kept hoping that the new occupants wouldn't find it either.

My DD had lost a tooth on a cruise. I went to guest services, and she received a Magical Moments certificate, which she still has. DS had lost his first tooth at WDW. I had gone to guest services to see if I could get a Disney dollar to give him in addition to his regular tooth fairy money. I believe he received a pin and a certificate at that time.

Fast forward many years. DS's senior trip is to WDW, and he should be receiving his college acceptances at that time. I'm hoping to be able to call the resort and get a Magical Monents certificate delivered to his room to tell him the news (DS is a big Disney fan, so it should go over well.)

My DD lost a tooth on the Disney Magic. She happened to run into Cinderella that day, and mentioned it to her (I think my wife whispered our stateroom number to Cinderella). Later I got a call from Guest Services confirming the information, and then that very night there was a Magical Moments certificate in our room. It was one of the most memorable moments of the cruise. It really is like magic!

well not only did DD's tooth come out on Friday but she lost ANOTHER one yesterday... LOL She is now kind of bummed she wont lose one on the ship. Maybe Tinkerbell will bring her a little something extra anyway since she now looks like an NHL player....

BTW - For a noobie here, what's a Magical Moment Certificate? I'm 26, but I'd be willing to pull out a tooth if the Magical Moment Certificate is worth it.

My DD lost hers while she was in the kids club. The CM gave me the pack of pixie dust and a Magical Certificate. That night while she was asleep we sprinkled the dust on the bed and left her $2 from Tinkerbell...who would have know she is the Tooth Fairy's cousin????!!!!!

My DD lost hers too, on the Magic. In the kids club. I think the magical moments certificate was in our stateroom after dinner that night. The kids club counselors must have arranged it. Because I just picked her & the tooth up & thought nothing of it. Tooth fairy came of course. But I though that was a very special thing to do.

My DS lost a tooth on the Dream last April. I mentioned it to one of the CM's that we got to know really well and asked if they sold Disney Dollars on the ship (to place under his pillow that night). I was able to purchase them from guest services and by surprise (for DS anyway ), the next morning when he got up, there was a Magical Moments certificate with a lost tooth Disney Button waiting in our Fish. The button is adorable. It has the Cheshire Cat (big smile) with a missing tooth

Are you planning on going to WDW after the cruise? Once, while on vacation, the tooth fairy got in touch with Tinkerbell who left Disney Dollars under my daughter's pillow.

That Tinkerbell is quite jealous and won't let other fairies on the ship. DS lost his first tooth on the way back to the Magic at CC. I went to GS to ask for Mickey heads. They told me to come back in 30 minutes and had a drawstring gauze bag with Mickey heads, silver glitter and a Tinkerbell pin. Of course, when DD lost her first tooth she was on Tink's special list and had a visit from her at home.

Not on the ships, but several years ago while at Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wilderness Lodge we heard a waiter explain to a child that the Tooth Fairy was NOT allowed on Disney Property and that Tinkerbell fulfilled the duties of the Tooth Fairy. He then proceeded to tell all the children within listening range that Tinkerbell left $20 dollars for each tooth. Our DS immediately began working on any tooth he could in hopes of getting one to come out so he could collect.

I would assume since the Ships are Disney property that this applies and Tinkerbell is finding herself busier and busier now.

My DD lost her first tooth on the Magic. She too was worried that the tooth fairy wouldn't find her but she did. She left her usual USA $$$, glitter starting at the point she enters the room to the tooth, and a coin from the last country she visited (then we look up that country and talk a little about it.) The children's favorite part was the coins. (DD is now 16 and DS is now 18.)

LOL well I am not sure. When DD lost her very first tooth, the tooth fairy left her a special certificate and identified herself as "Erin of Ireland" We then surmised there might be a group of fairies that covered various regions.

DD had a lose tooth back in June that we thought she whould lose while on vacation in upstate new york at a horse ranch. She didnt lose the tooth until we got home and was disappointed when the tooth fairy didnt come (oops!). One day later she got a special treat and a note from "Erin" that explained she had to travel up to NY to pick up the special gift the New York tooth fairy had selected for her in the hopes she would lose it in her territory (a set of small plastic horses) which explained the one-day delay....

Maybe they are unionized and not allowed to cross certain geographical lines? LOL [and maybe the Molinator is the head tooth fairy?]
