I have a little girl with two front teeth that are VERY loose. We were wondering if the tooth fairy visits WDW and what she might bring?;) (at home she brings a Sacaguwea Dollar) Does anyone have any ideas?:D (I've posted on the cruise board also since we'll be on the Wonder on Sunday...we're at the GF on Wed.)

My granddaughter lost a front tooth at Donald's Breakfastsarus....the tooth fairy brought her Disney Dollars.:D

DS lost a tooth on our visit in 1999 and was rewarded with 5 Disney dollars. The tooth fairy increases her reward if you're on vacation. The hardest thing for me was to stay awake until he fell asleep to slip it under his pillow....this was after a LONG day at the parks!

DD lost a tooth this past summer while we were vacationing in Canada. She got 5 Canadian dollars and with the exchange rate she got a better deal!!!

These are a must at our house, as you can imagine. The amount does increase if you are actually in the WORLD when the tooth is lost. Have a great trip!!!!

paras4ri - What do you mean you had to stay awake until you put it under his pillow? Put what?! :) :)

The gift from the tooth fairy!!!! At home the kids go to sleep before we do and they sleep in their own rooms. On vacation we usually all collapse at the same time (which is late) and we share a room!

City Hall at MK use to hand out certificates for lost teeth.

paras4ri - Are you telling me there is no such thing as the tooth fairy?!! Please say it isn't so! How will I ever break the news to my 8 and 4 year old (yes, the 8 year old still believes the toothfairy and Tink make visits). Next you will be telling me there is no such thing as Santa or GASP Mickey Mouse :) :)

My DD lost her tooth in a Beaches & Cream hot dog last summer! The tooth fairy brought her one of those flashlites that turns into a sword - the one souvenir she "had to have". I also called down to the front desk and they sent up balloons and an autographed picture of Chip and Dale congratulating her on her tooth loss. They were waiting for us when we came back that night. We were staying at the BWV. She keeps the photo on her bureau at home.

Hey js,
My son is now 10 and still believes!!!! We slipped the bill under his pillow because the tooth fairy didn't know which bed he was using...she didn't want to give it to dad my mistake!!!

My daughter actually lost a tooth on Christmas Day while we were at WDW -- here's my photo of it before it fell out. (FYI: She fell down and busted up her mouth pretty badly before an Easter WDW trip the year prior, and thus has lost some of her baby teeth a few years too soon, the poor dear. Luckily, we didn't have to cancel our WDW vacation that Easter.) Since my daughter still believed in the Tooth Fairy, I made sure to put some Disney Dollars under her pillow on Christmas night. She was pleased as punch the next morning to see that the Tooth Fairy had "found" her in WDW (just like she was thrilled that Santa had "found" her, too).

I will admit that when my teenage son was much, much younger, the Tooth Fairy actually was forced to leave him a "check" one time. Luckily, my son didn't know how to "read" and thus thought the check was from the Tooth Fairy. Of course now that he is older, it is one of his favorite stories to relay to his friends about his crazy mom. Oh, the pain of being a mother!:D

We are back from the World with all teeth in tact. (Darn!) No amount of coaxing could make her pull either of the very loose front teeth out. Even when the head server on the Disney cruise brought her 3 ears of corn...she scraped off the corn with her bottom teeth!
Thanks for all the suggestions...I guess we're back to the Sacaguwea coins.

Youngest DD actually "knocked" one of her brother's teeth out at Epcot last year, and we had to search around on the floor for it. Only MY son would consider a trip to First Aid at Epcot a highlight of his trip! Tooth Fairy was very generous...a Disney Dollar and a $10 pin!

My dd during our last trip broke one of her main guide wires while at WDW - once back at the Dolphin - one of the maintenance men came with a pair of pliers so I could cut it off

Before we left on our trip, my daughter's tooth was about to pop out at any time. So this gave me other things to add to my packing list- "Tooth Fairy" supplies.

My daughter lost her first tooth on the Disney Magic last summer. She was worried that the Tooth Fairy wouldn't find her out in the ocean. In the morning, she was very excited because the Tooth Fairy did find her and did her special thing.

Our Tooth Fairy brings a regular $1, glitter (for the window and bed, or for this time the ladder to her bunk and her bed), and leaves a coin from the last country she visited before coming to see our children. Then we have to look on a globe or map to see where the place is located and talk about it. (Can you tell I'm a teacher?) My kids love the coins the best. (I had a bunch and ask friends to save their change from their trips. After 9+ years, I have some interesting coins to select from.)

I think it was a pretty special place to loose her first tooth.
And we did tip more to housekeeping, for the minor mess, and our request not to clean up that area or change the sheets for that day.
