My daugter lost a tooth last week, and I did not have a dollar to give my daughter from the tooth fairy, only large bills. But, I found a Disney Dollar and put it under her pillow. Big mistake.

My DD ask "How did the tooth fairy know we were going to WDW?" I said, oh she just knows those things. She seemed puzzled and said, "Now, tell me the truth, are you the tooth fairy?" What could I say?

So, it is completely plausible for her to believe that the tooth fairy knows when a child loses a tooth, travels around the world, and pops into children's rooms, but can't believe she knows you are going to WDW? :rotfl2:

I guess Santa is next - :rolleyes1

Thanks for the heads up my DD has a wiggly tooth and I was thinking of doing Disney Dollars....I'll rethink that because at 6 she still believes it all!!!! :earsgirl:

I did the same with my DD she loved it and asked the same question. I love little magic secrets. I also get a couple to keep on hand so when they do good deeds or get A's on report card they are rewarded. Their is always something at DW that they want and it makes them think harder when they have to spend their Dollars. Learning lesson also.

I've done that with my DS7 & he's never asked about it..the Tooth Fairy always leaves a few Disney Dollars.

Also...our yearly DW trip is always about 2 weeks after Easter (much less crowded :flower: ) & the Easter Bunny always leaves my kids some Disney Dollars for our trip in their Easter baskets. Neither of them has ever questioned it..they always get lots of different goodies for their upcoming trip.

My oldest lost her tooth in Disney so it wasn't a surprise that the tooth fairy left a disney dollar. two years later the youngest has a loose tooth while we were there and she wanted so badly to loose it there. We ended up writing to the tooth fairy and ask for a disney dollar instead of a regular one.

Well I have to admit we have the Poop Fairy at our house. My DS was having a difficult time pooping in the potty and I was at my whitts end. Came up with the Poop Fairy and if you did a good Job the day before you could earn a Disney Dollar. Well he got the monorail toy he wanted from DL.

At our house you can earn them for anything. As we go to DL when ever we go visit our family out there. It is a good incentive. I plan on giving them also for the tooth fairy. We also recycle them... He gives me the Disney Dollars to purchase the item and I just pay with my own money and put the Disney Dollars back into the envelope. As our Disney store does not always have 1's.

Npw for the loose teeth. We say on our bock that the tooh fairly takes them and gives them to the babies.. Works well with us as my DD is 9 months and has been getting in teeth. So all the kids on the block tell the tooth fairy to give them to her...
