Is anyone here on this board a true member of Toontown? My kids are very interested in becoming members and since we've been taking advantage of the free guest pass we're using I'm wondering if it's worth it to be a member.

Specifically the fact that we get booted off ALL the time!! In an hour time span we get booted off at least a dozen + times. Does this happen when you are a real member or is it just a problem with my computer?

Get the Bots!

we paly tt all the time and never get booted off. I am not sure if it is because you are doing the free version or not but we pay monthly. The game is great we all love it.

Princess Bubbles banananoodle - is me :)

7 days 2 hours and 26 minutes to the happiest place on earth!!!

My kids both love Toontown and keep asking for us to become members. We don't get booted off, and we have the free version. I'll be curious to read the responses you get!

Never heard of it, can anyone tell me what this is?

My kids LOVE Toontown!!! we have 2 memberships, when we did the free trial, the computer would freeze up a lot, with the paid version not a problem. don't know if its coincidence or not!
but they love it, I just did the renewal for each membership, and its $79 for the whole year.

I'm glad to hear it doesn't freeze up for real members. We're giving it o the girls for Christmas and I'd hate to spend the money and not be able to play. Right now we all fight to play it on my laptop becuase it doesn't freeze up as much as our house computer, but hopefully the real membership won't have a problem.

Giving it for Christmas is a great idea! I told DD9 she would have to pay for it out of her allowance, and she was actually considering it, so I know she must really want it.

The girls would like to play together as friends (like they can on Webkinz), but I am guessing we would need two memberships for that?

You'd need two memberships and two computers online at the same time. The Mac version doesn't seem to work as well as the PC version, BTW.

I don't know about the rest of you, but DH and I have fun playing on Toontown too. I miss the VMK!!!!

Thanks! We have a desktop and a laptop, but I'm not sure I want to fork over the money for two memberships. They rarely play Webkinz together, and they don't get that much computer time anyway, but I might spring for one membership so they can each have three toons to play with. DD5 is sad that her toon is a boy and she can't put a dress on him! :rotfl2: She doesn't want to start all over with her toon, so maybe she would like a girl toon as well as her boy toon.
