We are going to be in Disney March 27-30, we know it will be very busy so we got ridemax to help us to choose when the best time to ride certain rides will be. Monday we have TTMM to do, the girls are really interested in meeting characters so we want to do this for sure. How much time should be plan for in Toontown before heading off to other parts of the park (so we can plan on ridemax) They want to see all the character houses, meet the characters and go on the Gadget Go Coaster.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Toon Town Morning Madness starts one hour after the park opens. You want to head that way about 10-15 mins before the gates open. This way you can ride Roger Rabbit & the Go Coaster before the opening ceremony starts. The characters won't be in their houses until after this little show.

As soon as the show ends, I'd head to Mickey's house. Minnie doesn't always end up in her house, sometimes she's elsewhere in ToonTown.....so you'll just have to keep an eye out for her. Goofy & Pluto are usually hanging out after the show as well. You have an hour in there before it's opened up for the others. Take advantage of it........the Go Coaster is the shortest ride in the park (I believe) but the line can go on forever......so hit it early!!

If I'm mistaken on any of this info (based on our previous trips when we had the morning madness) hopefully someone will set the record straight. Haven't done this the last 2 years.

Almost right...Laurie did you do TTMM on your MM day?

TT regular opening is 1 hour after the park opens. If you have tickets to TTMM then you get into toontown 1 hour before everyone else IE at the same time as park opening. At rope drop head straigt to Toontown with your tickets, meet some characters doing M&Gs by the entrance (they do this to give people time to get there from rope drop) then get a seat for the show...after that follow Laurie's instructions...Have fun we did!

Thanks, I am wondering how long we'll likely spend in toontown to do all these things before we head in the regular park.

It will all depend on how long the waits are for the characters. We've waited anywhere from 15 mins to 45 mins to see Mickey at his house.

We just did this last Wednesday. We were there for rope drop and headed straight to Toontown. I think we got one pic done before the show. It was very cute. Make sure to get over to City Hall in time to get the kids up front. After the show DH got in line for Mickey and my DD and I were 2nd in line for Minnie. Problem was she came out last. DH had to let others go ahead of him for us to catch up. Mickey's line was still pretty long. Afterwards we practically walked right up to Goofy. We already had Pluto and Chip and Dale so we skipped those. We got FP for Roger Rabbit and didn't do the coaster. We left about 12. If crowds are like they were for us I'd say 2-3 hours. We had fun. Hope this helps!
