Can anyone tell me when toontown opens (and WHERE is it?) is it at DCA or DL?

we get one early morning at Toontown
and get MM's (we are staying at the DLH, so we get in early on Sat, Sun and Tues... is that right???)

also
WHAT is at toon-town?
are there attractions we want to hit right away?

i am trying to figure out when to have breakfast (at Goofy's Kitchen)
and i am THINKING it is going to have to be at 8:00 am on Monday.

is 1 hour enough for a character breakfast?

does 8 sound like an OK time to have breakfast? or should it be 7:45?

both M and T i am trying to be more relaxed, since we are going to be running around a lot on Sat & Sun (we are going for 4 days and staying at the DLH)

thanks for any helping.

So you are staying on a package that gives you the Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness vouchers? cool!

TT opens normally one hour after DL opens. Therefore, on the 4 days a week that MTTMM is held (your vouchers get you in one time), TT opens AT normal park opening. They do NOT start the festivities immediately, though, there would be no one there! :goodvibes

If you have the vouchers, you might as well take advantage of it! It's a little ceremony, little song n dance, tiny parade, and you get a jump on meeting Mickey and friends.

TT is all the way at the "back", "behind" Fantasyland, past Small World, by the way.

Oh, there are more questions. :)

Character meal seatings are based on a 90 minute period so you can eat, interact, eat more, have some fun. If you're done early I'm sure they won't hold you there, lol, but they are generous with time alloted you.

TT has Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, which to me is a Mr Toad type ride. There is also the 30 second long Gadget's Go Coaster, which little kids can ride (35" tall, I think, is the minimum?). Then there are Mickey and Minnie's houses where you can meet various classic characters, there's a little play house/area called Goofy's house, Donald's boat, and a to-be-avoided (b/c it's so pathetic imo) chip and dale treehouse (I get sad just thinking about that treehouse). There are quick service meals places, and a gift shop. And the area between the gift shop and Roger Rabbit must be thoroughly explored, pushing buttons, opening boxes, pulling on door handles, etc. Fun.

I like going in the AM b/c it gets so hot back there as the sun comes up!

Bumbershoot,
thank you SO MUCH for all your help, i see your icon in every post i look at--you're a great addition to this board!

k
so
yes, we get a Toontown early entry.
we booked through disney.com

and it came w/ that as well as priority seating to some DCA events (like Aladian, etc.)

it looks like breakfast will be at 8 on Monday. that gives us time to eat--and then get into DL and go and line up at Toontown.

one more thing,

we have Ariel's dinner--at 7:10 on Sat nite.

i want to go and see fireworks at 9:25
ugh
i hope that is enough time.
i will keep the time IF i can't change it, otherwise, i will try to get in at 6:30

do you think we will have enough time to go see the fireworks AFTER eating at 7:10? (and you said they give you 90 mins, right?)

we don't have to have the best seats... we just want to be able to SEE them and HEAR the music.

this planning thing is like balancing the US gov't budget.

When we went in 04 we also had early entry into this area. It was open for people that had early entry. Then 1 hour after the park opened they let in the rest of the patrons. We lucked out because when our kids were on the roller coaster 3 or 4 charecters came out and we have pictures of them riding the coaster beside them.:cool1:
