toontown closing?

I was reading the 2011 Birnbaum guide to WDW. First of all, I chuckled at the fact that they suggest avoiding the morning crush by getting to MK around 1pm, lol.
But also, it said that Mickey's Toon Town Fair is closing in 2010. Is that true?

Doubtful in 2010, but almost certain in early 2011 as part of Fantasyland expansion. No one knows for absolute sure though.

Aw. We'll be there April 12th. So, we won't be able to see Mickey and Minnie's house? That's one of the things I though my DD would like the most. They'll still have a place to meet mickey and maybe the princesses though, won't they?

1- Nobody knows. There is no current posted schedule.
And, many things that were previously announced have since been changed.

2-Yup. Already set up and waiting until needed.

We're all pretty sure that the M&Gs with the characters will still be going on, but no one knows about Mickey's and Minnie's houses. I don't like your chances they will still be open in April. Sorry!

Good idea to comb these boards for any Disney planning. They are the best single source for accurate info and good advice IMO.
