Toontown closing???

Is toontown clossing???........Are mickey and minnies house being taken away???

It's all being torn down (except the Barnstormer) to expand Fantasyland. The rumour that they're moving the houses is false, as far as I know. They're building a meet & greet area in the Exposition Hall for them.

Yes, they want to build a better theme there. I think they might keep Mick & Minn's house, or atleast move it to another location. It's understandable, the only attraction we ever really like there was Goofy's Barnride.

I'm happy they're keeping Barnstormer. I might be too old for it, but I was on the first public ride. (yo, that's my Disney claim to fame, yo.) So I've got a few really good memories of it. Other than that, I really like the plans for the Fantasyland expansion, so I'm not that broken up about them tearing it down.

I went to the D23 event talking about the Fantasyland Expansion and they said that they were going to relocate Mickey and Minnie's house, but that they did not know where yet. Granted, this woman who asked was OBSESSED with them and looked like she might attack him if he said no, but that's what I was told. As for Toontown being gone, yes they are tearing it down except Barnstormer which is going to a part of the Dumbo attraction, as a clown themed rollercoaster. Same track, new theme. At least according to this Imagineer.

I worked at Mickey's Toon Town Fair. I can't believe it won't be there anymore when I go back. It's like my life as Disney World Cast Member is being erased!

I am so glad that they are keeping Goofy's Barnstormer!! I went to the MK on my 9th birthday when they had the magical extended hours and the CM say my birthday button and because no on was in line they let me go around 6 times! It made me soo happy!!
