Toon town too?

First Pleasure Island, now Toontown is going the way of the do-do. I know nothing lasts forever, especially in Disney, But what's next? Are they going to tear down the castle and replace it with a mini-mall?

First Pleasure Island, now Toontown is going the way of the do-do. I know nothing lasts forever, especially in Disney, But what's next? Are they going to tear down the castle and replace it with a mini-mall?

Toon Town is being closed for the expansion of Fantasy Land. Goofys Barnstormer will still be there. This was announced at least a year ago, I believe. Personally I think this is a good move. Toontown always felt like a bit of a waste (and I have little kids), and was a bottleneck for crowds to say the least.

Check out the plans for the Fantasy Land expansion. You should be able to find them with a quick google search. I think you'll be pleased with it.

The plans for that area have been very fluid lately...it isn't going to be what the original leaked plans had (Pixie Hollow, etc.). Right now, it most likely seems like it will be somewhat similar to what they have now, but with a more overt circus theme. But Mickey and Minnie's houses are definitely leaving.
