Toon Town closed? Can kids still go see it?

My daughter is obsessed with Mickey’s house and we wanted to show her toon town. Anyone know if we can at least walk her past it?

As far as I know Toon Town is open, I haven’t heard of any closures. I believe Mickey, Minnie, and other characters can be found periodically throughout Toon Town.

It is open and so are the rides. Mickey and Minnie wave from their houses.

There is a large portion of the town blocked off due to construction of Runaway RR. The character houses are not open to enter, but you can still see them. The characters hang around outside. This might change once restrictions drop on the 15th.

Yeah, they are building Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. I rode it on my recent WDW trip and it is really good! Enjoy it, Disneyland People!

I just really hope they give it its own story line, that way they can be similar attractions in concept, but each be unique at the same time.
