This may be a moot point, because at the moment I can't get reservations at CRT. However, My 2.5 yo DS is obsessed with cinderella (and I figured I should take advantage before the whole "boys don't like princesses" thing kicks in ;-). Did you have young ones that enjoyed seeing the princesses? If so, how young?

The princesses will make a huge fuss over him. I don't think 2.5 is too young at all!! Did you try lunch times? Twice I have had good luck just saying whatever time you have for breakfast or lunch. I've gotten odd times. Once was a 10:00 breakfast and once was a 2:00 lunch, but we don't usually plan our trips at 180 days out!

Definitely go- especially if he likes the princesses/Cinderella! My DD went for the first time when she was 4 and the look of wonderment in her eyes when she saw Snow White and Cinderella (her favorites at the time) for the first time was priceless! :)

We took our son at about 18 months old or so - Snow White made such a fuss over him! We have pictures with lipstick all over his face from her kisses. It was priceless! Enjoy CRT - it is truly amazing.

The first time we went my youngest was 21 months and she LOVED it!

If I were you, I would go now while he is still FREE!

Not too young! My DS was obsessed with princesses too until he was about 4ish. He even has a set of Cinderella flannel sheets, which he has now handed down to his princess-crazed three year old sister.

Enjoy your meal, keep callling and trying. Several times a day if you have too. Yep, I've done it. I once booked Le Celliar for a group of 8 for a noon lunch 8 days in advance! :)

My son was 2 last year when we went. Not only did he eat free but they gave him the sword like they give the other boys. The princesses did all fuss over him too and he ate it up.

I would definitely say that you really can't be too young to like the CRT. As long as he is not affraid to actually go up to the characters, it should be fun. Good luck with the CRT ADR, I know the difficulty! ;)

And remember, if you can't get CRT, Cinderella is also at dinner at 1900 Park Fare, at the Grand Floridian. Double-check who will be there - when we were there, it was also Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and the step-sisters, but apparently sometimes the cast changes.

(And it doesn't hurt that it's a lot cheaper!)

My nephew loves the Cinderella movies (the original, II and III) and was fascinated with the castle when we were in WDW in June. He was 3 at the time and loved every minute of it. We went back last month for lunch and are returning in August for breakfast. He gets to see the inside of the castle, find Jaq & Gus in the room where you take your pic with Cindy, and get a new sword. We get to have a pretty good meal and get out of the heat and crowds. It's a win-win situation :thumbsup2

I have 1900 park faire currently reserved if I can't find a CRT cancellation.

I agree with the others GO!!! He will just love it. My 3 year old loved it and she still talks about it. She loves Cinderella! Have a great time and take lots of pictures!
