Yes, I probably need an intervention to help me stop with the obssessing, but until someone stops me, I'll keep on planning.:woohoo:

Okay, so, onto my questions. We're looking at the dates Jan. 4 - Jan. 8 to go back to DL. So I guess it's going to be pretty busy, and I'm trying to figure out if these dates are a really bad idea :scared: or if with some good planning it will be doable.

DD is starting high school this year  so that makes me less willing to miss too many school days :teacher: , plus we really want to see all the Christmas stuff. :santa:

Anyway, would it be worth it to purchase a year subscription to RideMax now and play with itineraries for January, or is it way too early and I won't be able to put in dates this far in advance?:confused3 We're traveling a long way, so I'll need to buy plane tickets soon, but I'm worried that those dates are going to be crazy and I'll regret it.

Thanks for your input!!!:thumbsup2

January dates won't be available on Ridemax for awhile, it's usually about two months out. That is it will have the current month and the next month available for you to play around with.

This is a a great question! I've been wondering how long before your actual trip you should purchase Ridemax...is it 2 months? 1 month?

Someone, tell us!!

Oh, boy, I have to wait that long before I can start planning and printing 50 million what-if itineraries. What will I do in the meantime?

I guess I'll have to keep reading DIS:surfweb:

No matter when you purchase RideMax it is always recommended you run your final itineraries as close as possible to your departure date. Further, as noted by others, RideMax will not have data posted for anyone until 4-8 weeks before their trip. With that said, it is fun to play around RideMax beforehand. I usually get an updated license 3-4 months beforehand. In such cases just choose a date for which they do have data which you expect will have a similar crowd level. How can you tell? By looking at the DLR park hours. If you want to get a jump start on January, then do it.

That's a good suggestions. I guess summer months might be similar to those dates I chose. And by the time Jan. rolls around I'll be a RideMax expert planner!!!

Plus it's cheaper than therapy.:upsidedow

Planning is so much fun!
I'm glad you asked this ? because I was wondering the same thing.
I was planning on purchasing a year subscription to Ridemax 2 weeks before our trip. That way I can use it again for our Sept trip next year.
I'm dying to buy it 2 months before, but I want to be able to use it next Sept too.
Hopefully the Nemo ride will be incorprated into Ridemax for this trip!
I think $25 is a great price if it will save lots of time in DL.
Time is moneypirate:

Ridemax does include info on Nemo now, I just pulled mine up to see if there was an update and there is. :thumbsup2

I did it. I did it. Even though we won't be there till Jan., it's fun to play with and see how little the waits can be with proper planning!! We're also going to try to go at the very end of May, so my subscirption will still be good then and I'll have months of playing... I mean planning of course.:rolleyes1 Well worth the subscription price!!

Once question, though. Anyone know how to get it to schedule Jungle Cruise during the day?:confused3
