Too soon to ask concierge for itinerary?

We are staying at the Poly GVC for the first time.

I e-mailed all of my requests to Poly concierge a couple of weeks ago. They responded by saying they would add our requests to their list. I then made a couple of changes and I was told they would note the changes.

I requested that they e-mail me a copy of the itinerary to make sure I didn't forget anything. I never received a copy. I also asked them if they could help with in-room gifts for my sons and if so, when do I need to let them know what I want. That was almost a week ago and I haven't heard anything back.

I wouldn't think too much of it, but my friend is staying at BC concierge and she has received an updated itinerary for every change they make. They have been in almost constant contact and extremely helpful in making suggestions, etc. I know the BC is going above and beyond what is expected, but we are past the 90 day mark for all of our requests and I am getting a little nervous. This is an extra special trip for us and there are a couple of PS that are really important.

Do you think I should e-mail them to ask for the itinerary? I don't want to be labeled a pain before we even get there.

I did. They emailed it back w/in a couple of hours. They probably didn't get your email, I'd try again.
 
I would e-mail them back, they usually respond within 24 hours and I know a few weeks back people were posting that the conc. was having e-mail problems. I also want to request gifts for my daughter but was wondering if I should wait until right b4 we left. I did this last year (but can't remember the time frame) and it made her trip!!! She couldn't wait to get back to the room to see what Mickey left her.

We had gifts in the room a couple of years ago and it was a huge hit! I really want to do this again and I wanted to give concierge enough time. I'll just wait to hear from them.

deanna2426 - Unfortunately, the Poly has been having some problems lately with guest contact in concierge. We, too, have communicated with BWI IPO (which is shared with BC/YC) and had instant response from them. However, Poly IPO seems to have a problem receiving emails and calls, and responding to them.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Poly and still plan on going there. Any time I've been concerned that my requests were not met, I emailed and eventually got a response that all was taken care of. They have emailed me an itinerary, so I know my PS's are there!:rolleyes:

Hopefully, this problem will be quickly rectified, it's very frustrating for everyone involved, including the cm's.

I am going a few days after you are. They emailed me an itinerary of what they had booked for me so far including CRT. There was some confusion regarding who the birthday celebration at CRT was for (myself or my DS). I exchanged emails with Melissa for a couple of hours with no problems. Hopefully, you hear something soon! I know how hard it is to wait.
