Is there anything you would recommend that our DS4 not go on? Hes been on everything at Disney and is fairly brave with rides, he's also 44 inches so meets the height requirements for a lot of rides. Ds is a superhero nut so I think he'll love universal!!!!

The only thing I recommend against is the rides he's not big enough for. Everything else is perfect for him. Twister might be a little much for him, because its in the dark and kids hate thunderstorms.....

The Mummy, Juraissic Park maybe Terminator. Our girls were 4 & 6 the first time there and DD loved JP (the movies) but the huge dino scared her. THe Mummy is very intense, good thing the height requirement is as high as it is. Terminator maybe for the violence, as well as avoiding the Horror & Makeup show unless he's into the gore

Depends on the kid, but a lot that age get freaked out in Posidon's Fury when the room goes pitch black.

My 5-year old son was nervous on a lot of rides the first time through (just like he did at Disney), but was excited to go on them a second time for all rides EXCEPT Poseidon's Fury. The only rides he did not go on were ones where he was too small (Hulk, Mummy, Dragons, Free Fall, and Ripsaw Falls), but did just about every other ride two or three times.

My son is 5 and the other is 3 what do you think about taking them on spiderman? They love him to dealth but they also scare easily?

The only one that really came to my mind was possibly The Mummy. But you may try even that with him, if he likes superheros he would love that one. You may just ask him and tell him that this one is pretty scary like a really scary movie and see what he thinks.

Some kids may be scared by JP but I'm guessing your kid would not be. Again you may just tell him that there are some animatronic dinos including a T-Rex and ask him if he thinks that will be too scary. If he says no lets go, then I'd go for it.

I personally don't think you have anything to worry about on Spiderman, especially if he is really into superheros. But that's just IMO.

My DS5 rode Spiderman for the first time on our last trip (in May). He is the kind of kid that, as long as he's prepared for what's coming, he's fine. I rode Spiderman many times before having children, so I was able to prepare him. Bad guys show up in each room/scene, but Spiderman will always save us. That was his mantra.

Having said that, the bad guy sequences can get pretty intense for a child that frightens easily. I personally wouldn't take a child younger than 5 on it, even if they meet the height requirements.

Every child is different. Even if it spoils the surprise and fun of a first time ride for you, you might want to watch one of the ridethrough videos on YouTube... then you can make an informed decision about what is too much for your child. I did a quick search and here is a ridethrough of Spiderman:

Hope that helps! :goodvibes
