too old?

i love to do all the kiddie stuff at Disneyland. For a ling time now I have been wanting to do the character breakfast, the Discover the Magic Tour, Goofy's kitchen etc., but since I am 24 & have no children i feel like i would stand out liek a sore thumb. has anyone done it or other children oriented thigs @ Disney? How was your experience? It would just be me & my fiancee. so... I don't know... any advice?

you're never too old...
my favorite ride at DL is the circus train in fantasyland....the one that goes around storybookland...i love that train...i'll ride it over and over and over...
and i am a whole lot older than 24 ....52 to be exact....

Almost 2 years ago I retired after 35 years as an elementary school teacher. Immediately after my retirement party, my sister and I headed to Disneyland. The trip was my retirement present from my sister. We had a blast! We went to 2 character breakfasts, rode all the rides and had our picture taken with lots of characters.

We both are annual passholders and make at least 3 trips a year together. In fact, we'll be there in about 2 weeks, just the 2 of us (age 58 and 56).

FYI, I'm single with no kids, but my sister has 4 kids and 6 grandkids (so far!). We've also taken trips with her kids and grandkids, but we cherish our adult trips!

I don't know if there's another place where anyone of any age can feel so free to be a kid! And the cast members and characters are right there with you!

I've never had anyone make a remark or give me a funny look when I'm enjoying myself at DL. If anything, people are right there giving me :thumbsup2 !

PS, I've also been on 3 Disney cruises (see pic below) and am going on my fourth in May--westbound Panama Canal, and I'm going solo!

Thank you everyone for your words of encouragment. I am looking forward to thet next time I go. Character breakfasts & tours here we come. You are all right, I have never felt out of place there & even though I have gotten a few smirks from pushy moms who will just "shove" there kid in from of a character:headache: .... I have way more happy memories than not. I will be sure to post charater pictures. when i go. thanks again!!!

TOO OLD!?! Never, haven't you heard of Disney magic??? pixiedust: Have a great time. My hubby and I love to go to DL. This next trip may be our last with both kids, but we will still keep going. Yea, we get the usual, "You're going again!!!" I proudly say, "Yup, we are big kids at heart." Where else can you be a kid???

ok, so just to let everyone on this tread know. I have taken all your advice & i am not going to let my age stop me from having Disney fun, so ..... (eeekkkk, i am soo excited) :cool1: I am going to MIckeys halloween treat  on Oct. 29th!!! Yay it's going to be me. an older sister, 27 & youger sister, 17 !!! I can't wait!!!!:jumping1:

Some people just don't get it. To this day my Mother still does not understand our need to "do Disney again". I am 41 and look forward to the day I can share all this with my Grandchildren. Hopefully when my time comes, they will carry me out of the Disney park in a pine box!:lmao:

OMG - If I didn't have kids I'd be there MORE often!!! LOL

Once my mom had an empty nest she & my stepdad go every fall - lucky.

Think about it - do you & your DF enjoy the zoo? The park? The fair? Those are labled kid oriented too .... but just adults do them all the time!!

Go & have fun. In Disney there is no sticking out like a sore thumb - just mutual lovers of all things Disney. :thumbsup2
