Hello,

We are going to the world in May and have made our fastpass selections. Having never been to WDW I used suggestiosn from all over to choose what to get fastpasses for and Turtle Talk was recommended as one to get a FP+ for. After watching a video about what Turtle Talk is I am thinking my kids may be too old for it, DD is 8 and DS is 10. Anyone else have kids around this age and are they bored with it? TIA

Might be a little old, but maybe not. Obviously depends on the kids. I don't think Turtle Talk is that great an FP, but with the tiering and limited options in Epcot it's not a horrible one either. See the green link in my signature for more info.

I'd say 8 and 10-year-olds probably won't enjoy it as much as younger kids. We've skipped it for the last few years. Our kids are 13 and 9.

The Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in MK is similar, and MUCH more enjoyable for older kids. Including 41-year-old kids, like me :)

I don't think they're too old. We love TTwC and go every trip. We're in our 50's.... They may not want to sit down in front, but I bet they enjoy it.

Too old for Turtle Talk??? Nah. DH and I love it--it's a not to be missed for us, and we're in our late 50's and early 60's.

Are your kids too old to enjoy the movie, Finding Nemo? (Are you?)

The star of the show, Crush (the surfer-dude) is simply hilarious for all ages.
He speaks to the little kids in the audience, but it's how he reacts to what they say (or don't say) that is hysterical.
It's a different show every time.

We always have fun, with or without bringing kids.

DUDE!

BTW, although I DO recommend seeing Turtle Talk, you will not need a FP+ to see the show.

I'm 41 and I don't think I was too old :) my 7yo, 15yo and 21yo all 3 loved it.. one of our favs :)

Hey, I'm retired and we sit in the back with our grown sons-no grandkids yet- and watch the show and the kids down front who have a lot of fun . Usually Crush even notices us in the back and comments about something one of us "Big Kids" is wearing.

The last time I went I was 24, no kids in our group. I still giggled. It's cheesy, yeah. And they're possibly too old to believe in the "OMG Crush is here talking to us" aspect. But it's still a cute, funny little show. I intend to go back when we go this year, and we'll be 27 and 41. :)

We go to see TTwC every time we go to Epcot. If we left the kids at home I would go see it by myself. The interaction between Crush and the kids is what makes it enjoyable.

We go with Ds10, dd7, and ds5 and our oldest certainly don't think he's too old yet for it and for that matter I don't feel too old for it either. Lots of fun and different almost everytime, I'll never forget when Crush asked DS8 at the time what his favorite food was and he responded olives, Crush then had to talk to me as he couldn't hardly believe it. Yep it really is.

What are the tiers now ? I have heard they have changed since last year.

We've been every trip. Last trip my kid were DS11 and DD5.

I'm actually loooking forward to it on our upcoming trip. I find it very funny and cute. I know DD9 will still enjoy it and DS15 will laugh at the jokes.

I love Turtle Talk and I'm 38! LOL! We took my 9 year old dd in January and she loved it too :)

I enjoy Turtle Talk and Monsters Inc Laugh Floor if the show's about to start in 5 minutes or less. But they're nothing I'd wait in line for.
