I am going to DW in July with my b/f and we will have the dining plan. We wanted to do at least one table service breakfast but, mostly all breakfast are character dining. We are both 22 years old! Is that to old to go to a character breakfast? Also does anyone know what other restuarants in Disney does table service breakfast?? Thanks<3 :flower3:

You're never too old for a character breakfast! But if you want to try something else, Boma at Animal Kgdm Lodge and Spoodles over on the Boardwalk both have breakfast without characters as does Kona Cafe at the Poly. ENJOY!

I'm 40 and my hubby is 45 and we aren't 'too old' for character dining! You are NEVER too old for character dining or Disney!!!!

No way -- never too old for character dining. I remember when DH and I were on our first anniversary. We went to DL and we went to a character breakfast. We didn't have kids yet. But it was really fun seeing all the little kids interacting with the characters.

um...NO....:rotfl:

IM 37 and my DH is 41 and WE HAVE NO KIDS...and we do character breakfasts every single dern trip and there aint no shame in our game! :lmao:

The crystal palace breakfast is OUTSTANDING...there is also TUSKER HOUSE in the AK, and even 1900 PARK FARE at the GF....um...there is also breakfasts in CR, Ohana at the Poly and several more places I cant remember.

Go, eat, take pics, enjoy! :)

I was 22 at my first charecter breakfast, havn't stopped going yet! I love them, good food, great time with charecters without waiting in lines. We always do some sort of charecter dining each trip.

I get autographs too. Now that I have 2 kids I still get them for myself! Hey I have to keep my collection up to date.

I started Medicare last year, and I enjoy them. :woohoo:

Garden Grove, weekdays, at the Swan, and Fresh, at the Dolphin, sit down buffet breakfasts, no characters.

On our honeymoon we (two 22 year olds) went to 2 character breakfasts (Tusker House & Ohana) and 2 character dinners (Cinderella's Royal Table & 1900 Park Fare).
I liked the dinners better than the breakfasts, but the breakfasts were still fun.

What I found while planning our trip is that while there are several non-character table service breakfasts, most of them are not the best value on the Dining Plan. Most, if not all, are at resorts as well. We did have Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge scheduled for our last day, but ended up canceling, because I had planned on paying for it OOP, and we still had counter service and snack credits left to use.
Anyways...there's a non-character breakfast at every Deluxe and Moderate resort...at least I think there is....
Wilderness Lodge - Whispering Canyon Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe
Contemporary - The Wave
Poly - Kona Cafe
Boardwalk - Kouzzina
Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but basically most breakfast entrees are only $15 tops, even when you add in a drink ($2) and a "dessert" it barely scrapes up to $20.

You can search this website for options and menus to decide what you want to do.

Character dining is for anyone who wants to go! No age limits and you won't be looked at funny. I'm 25 and go to character breakfasts with my friends in their late 20's and early 30's. It's fun! The characters are usually good at reading in to how much interaction you want.

TS breakfast with characters are:
Akershus
Cinderella's Royal Table
Crystal Palace
Cape May Cafe
1900 Park Fare
Chef Mickey's
Tusker House
Hollywood and Vine
'Ohana
Garden Grove

TS breakfasts with no characters:
Rainforest Cafe
Boma
Kouzzina
The Wave
Maya Grill
Trails End
Grand Floridian Cafe
Olivia's
Kona Cafe
Whispering Canyon

That's all I can think of...

Spoodles is closed. The space is now Kouzzina.

Where did you say you were going?

Walt Disney World???

Are you going to ride Winnie the Pooh/Dumbo/It's a Small World/Peter Pan's Flight... etc, etc, etc? Wear shorts and sunscreen and stand in line for parades and scream on Splash/Space/Big Thunder Mountain?

If you're going to do all that, then you're not too old for a character breakfast.

LOL thanks, and you are very right!!!

If you are asking if you will look out of place - not at all. There are always several tables around without small kids. Nobody will think twice about seeing you there.

How much you want to interact with the characters is up to you. Participate as much or as little as you want.
