I am excited about all our choices....but did I go too far? My DH thinks I am trying to do too much planning and I should allow some room to "go with the flow." To make matters worse I recently became a lifetime member of weight watchers and I don't want to blow it in one week.

Your choices sound wonderful! Your list looks alot like ours!

We never make that many PSs in advance; we are more the "Go with the flow" types. We tend to decide in the morning where we would like to have dinner, and make a PS then. If you find you are just rushing too much to make a ressie, just call and cancel it!

On your list, I would REALLY recommend that you do not skip Jiko or Artist Point.

As for eating healthily, I think most all of the restaurants you have listed offer very healthy options, and I have found the staff at them to be very accomodating when it comes to altering a meal to meet dietary requirements; order the sauces on the side, etc.

Another thing we do sometimes is to split an entree, and we have never gotten so much as a strange look when we've made that request. A waiter at Jiko even suggested it once!

You will be amazed at the Sunrise Safari breakfast!

Enjoy your trip!

Actually, I did the same thing this past July. The thing is, the better I know the ins and outs of Disney, the more organized I am...but almost to a fault.

By day 3 or so (we were there 12 days) DH and I were feeling sick from all the food. Also, if you're going to be staying concierge, you should take advantage of all the yummy offerings a bit more. Maybe just have one special meal out a day instead of two and just snack at the lounge the rest of the time. Believe me even one big meal per day is alot. DH and I would actually skip meals all day and just have dinner. We found that we enjoyed it much more that way.

Next time, I am NOT going to plan every days meals. I will only do so for places we really want to try or i.e. dinner shows, adult night out dinner etc.

Good luck...

You get a big breakfast after the sunrise safari so I would skip breakfast on that day at Tusker house.

If you have more PSs than you want when you get there, just cancel some. This is my first trip with what I consider a load of PSs. (5 character meals + 4 others over 6 days) I figure at 50's PT, Le Cellier, and Sci-Fi if we aren't that hungry we can have a snack or ice cream instead of a meal. Because we're going over a holiday I thought it was better to have PSs. It's much easier to cancel if it's too much.

The last time I made that many PS' we were on the 'food n fun' card. Had a great time experiencing all the great places to eat, but it was a lot. Now we make sure we have one sit down meal a day. I have a few days not planned because of golfing, but am not worried about where we will eat. We are staying on club level, which, of course, helps that. Keep your ps', but cancel anything you don't want when you are there. Sounds like great choices though.

Go for it! You are on vacation! Live a little. Deal with the diet after the World, because calories don't really count at The Mouse. Tell your husband that a day without meal planning can lead to long waits for a place to eat when you are all cranky, hungry and want to eat now. MUCH better to plan in advance.

Great choices.

Keep in mind that you're going to walk about 5 miles a day... eat whatever you want!
