Why do we have a holiday dedicated to Columbus, anyways? All he did was sail to South America and have his men cut off the hands of Native Americans if they didn't give them gold.

Actually, these words do offend me. It has nothing to do with political correctness, it has to do with my feelings. I can't help the way that I feel, and I feel like it's wrong.

I have just accepted it though and I still use these words. It's not like there are any alternatives that I can think of. Besides, what's the point of fighting a battle that can never be won? Men and Women will never be equal.
