I think people are getting way too hung up with political correctness.

It's called a Christmas tree...deal with it. It's the Christmas season so the name fits.

They are freshmen. Always have been so why stop now?

It's spelled "women" not "womyn".

Girls and boys do you get offended for being called freshmen and girls, do you get offended for being called women?
Those who are of different religions, do you get offended that at the Christmas season, we call them Christmas trees?

Anyways, as I'm not religious, I do not care. As I'm not a over the top feminist or feel discriminated because of my sex, I'm not offended.

But, I do find it RIDICULOUS when a radio station plays nothing but Christmas music two months before the event. Basically because, where I live, there isn't much variety in radio stations.
You have your:

good two shoes music.
country.
gospel
classic rock
& the stuff like younger people listen to with all the cussing.

Well, you know most of the gospel is going to have Xmas music on, and then the good two shoes decides to do that as well. What happens to people who don't like any other stations other than goody two shoes, but doesn't celebrate that holiday?

I call them African Americans and Native Americans etc. Oh I certainly agree to respect others.

Changing terms such as Christmas tree, women, freshmen, and things of that nature, that's what bugs me.

I use all these terms including some other offensive terms. I know they're offensive but they're a habit in my vocabulary, therefore I use them. I'm not meaning to be especially or specifically offensive to anyone, I just say it.

PC is stupid. It needs to go die. Someone says something you don't like, deal with it. You don't have to say it and you don't have to call it that.
