I think you and your husband just can alernate years to on vacation. One year you Disney then the next year go own husband pick of vacation that way everyone get what they won't.
I know the years I can't get to Disney me and mom do stuff in the city and do one day trip to Six Flags or Dollywood which only two hours away.
It's plenty of vacations spots around the US don't miss out on them.
