Planning a trip for February. Just mother and grown daughter trip. Will be in WDW for my mums actual birthday.

Was thinking for that day, breakfast at Crystal Palace, half day at Magic Kingdom. Resort break. Dress up for Sip and Savor at the Contemporary.

Is this too much food for one day?

If we did this thinking at 9:30 ADR for breakfast and then sip isn’t usually til around 8pm.

This would only be our 2nd full day.

Undecided if I’m going to leave Sip and Savor as a surprise for my mum. So CP would seem like her bday treat.

Thoughts?

I think it sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate your mum's birthday. 🥰 🎆 And definitely enough time in between meals.

I think that’s a fine plan! Though I might let Mom know about the 8pm reservation just so she can plan accordingly. She might want to consider how to work other things around that, like other food that day, rest, freshen up beforehand, etc.

That's a lot of time between.
Enough that I'd be wanting some kind of afternoon snack.
Or I'd make the Crystal Palace breakfast be more like brunch then maybe I could go without anything between.

Just eat light at the Magic Kingdom… it shouldn’t be too much then.

Glad to know it’s not a crazy idea. Of course we’ll eat something in the afternoon. I’ll let my mum know to pack something nice and let her know the day of - havent figured out the surprise part yet.
