Too Much Christmas

It has been quite a week. Work, family gatherings, last-minute shopping, two bad snow storms, terrible traffic in poor weather conditions while trying to get it all done, the rush and then the hush of Christmas Eve (my favorite part...church), and then the long Christmas Day.
Yes, it was all great, but there is part of me that is glad it is over. Now, I can put on my Christmas music and really relax. Finally. I feel like I have been moving too fast from mid-November to this night. But now I can breathe...ahhh. Who is with me? :santa:

Im with ya, if you drop the Christmas music

I'm with you! I love decorating for Christmas (everything was done Thanksgiving weekend :goodvibes ) but I'm ready for it to be OVER. I'm enjoying my weekend, relaxing before going back to work tomorrow.

Count me in! I am soooo looking forward to "not" having anything scheduled that has to be done tomorrow, the next day, the day after that.. :)

Just chilling out and doing "whatever"..:thumbsup2

It didn't seem like Christmas to me at all so I am glad it was over. It has been 70 degrees here and my family has all been crazy so I will personally take pleasure in putting away the Christmas gear this year.:thumbsup2

Actually, it all seemed to come and go so quickly this year that I haven't had a chance to get sick of it yet! Normally, as much as I love Christmas, by now I'm ready to take it all down and get my house back in order, but this year the time between Thanksgiving and today just seemed to fly by. I barely had time to get anything done. :confused3

Glad its over...too much family drama.

Also my brother is over in Iraq so it just wasn't the same.

But he did call and we got to talk to him so that was the best part of my day!

I'm right there with you! As much as I love the decorating and all the festivities, my absolute favorite day has always been the day after Christmas. As you said....now I can BREATHE!!

My sister is coming home today. We'll have Christmas with her at my other sister's this weekend. It all came and went very quickly. I have been working my butt off though. Took a few days and went to WDW--only missed 2 days of work but I sure have paid for it!
I'm taking my tree down today. Yep, you heard that right. I've got a full two weeks coming up and then we're off to WDW for the marathon. We'll be gone 10 days. I have sooo much to do between now and then. But when I get on that plane, I'll be ready to take it easy and calm down just like you feel right now!

Enjoy your Christmas peace!!!!

I'm all about Christmas being over. It's just not the same for grown-ups. There weren't even very many Christmas shows on this year to get me in the spirit. Remeber when they used to have all the different "Christmas Carol"s on? I only saw one this year. Bummer.
