I'm one of those people who always have a hard time deciding on things.. I always think of ALL my options and try to weigh them out and just go round and round in my head.

I chose a disney wedding because I thought it would make it easier, but now I'm running all sorts of wedding day scenarios through my skull.

so far.. I've thought this:

maybe I should get married in the late afternoon at sunset pointe then take my wedding party to the spirit of aloha show as a reception.

ooooorrrrrrr

maybe we could get married at seabreeze pointe early in the day... go to a nice lunch .. then to cirque de soleil!

there's an entire world of options!

also, I'm wondering.. if I wanted to go eat at world showcase after my wedding for a reception.. everyone in my party has to have a ticket to get into epcot, right? I"m assuming it's so... even if we just wanted to go in and eat.

ah! how do I decide when there is so much great stuff I want to do and share with my wedding guests! :Pinkbounc

Or perhaps get Married at Sunset, do the Spirit of Aloha and see if you can get one of the Fireworks Cruise and watch it with your entire wedding party in the privacy of your own boat .

It can be overwhelming sometimes...

I don't know how many people you plan on having, but I do know there is now a limit of 10 people (including the bride and groom) at Sunset Point. And they don't do weddings there during the hotter months (May-October, I think). So that might narrow things down a bit.

I am a little partial to Sea Breeze Point ;)

If you want to go to a restaurant in World Showcase for dinner, I do think all of your guests will need park admission...and you most likely wouldn't be able to wear your dress.

Gee...I sound like such a downer! :) I don't mean to be! It's just that sometimes when you have more "rules" it can make your decision easier! ;)

Good luck and have fun!!

There are sooo many options. We are getting married at Sunset Pointe and then having dinner at O'hanas and a Wishes Cruise.

Just to let you know that if you decide to eat in a restaurant in one of the parks you can't wear your wedding gown. I think that is why so many people go for a resort restaurant.

You can plan some of those events for the day before or after the wedding, too. When we started finding out all of the great things Disney has to offer, we decided to include our guests in some fun activities. We're doing the Grand Gatherings Safari the night before the wedding. We're having dinner at Victoria and Albert's, but with just my brother, his family, and my fiance's brother and his wife. We're going to do the pontoon boat cruise to see the fireworks after the wedding. We're also squeezing in Cirque, but not everyone wants to go, and that is fine. I did what my sister-in-law suggested. We decided our itinerary and what we want to do (christmas parade, sleigh ride, Philharmagic...) We then picked what we would be willing to include others in and what would be for just us. Then, we sent out out itinerary and people can pick what they would like to attend. It's as simple as that. If you try to squeeze too much into one day, you can end up rushing and not enjoy it all.

Unfortunately, everyone in your dinner reservation needs a park ticket if you're going to dine at any restaurant in the parks. Because of that, we decided to make ressies at Boma, so everyone who's coming to the wedding can join us for dinner. Just like jojandhb, we booked a fireworks cruise for the evening we get married. I wanted to get Illuminations booked, but there were only two seats left, so we went with Wishes instead. Make SURE you book cruises right away, because they fill up fast. You can book them 90 days in advance and I suggest you get on the phone ASAP if you want to book one!

We're getting married at Sunrise Terrace! We're also staying at WL on the concierge level the night before (with my girlfriend) and after our wedding (with my new DH). I'm really excited! :bride:

I also wanted to stay the night before at the hotel where I'm getting married at (boardwalk) with my girlfriends then the night of my wedding with my fiance but it's so darn expensive!! I may not be able to do it. :confused3
