Too many choices - which resort to downgrade from GV?

We'll be in a OKW GV in January 2004. It will be a mini family reunion / birthday celebration.

We were thinking about staying a few days after everyone else leaves to relax and recuperate. We will probably downgrade to a one-bedroom for ourselves for a few days.

Since we have to move from the GV anyways, I'm having trouble deciding on whether to stay at OKW or move to another resort all together.

I'm tempted by our other home, BWV, since we had such a great time there last time. On the other hand, maybe a few days relaxing by SAB over at BCV would be ideal. Would it be too cold in January?

But then I think it might be easier to move between OKW units - probably wouldn't even need to totally pack! Just throw stuff in car and drive over - think college dorm moving! The chances of a one-bedroom being ready early at OKW are also much greater - especially, if I don't have any particular requests.

We will be doing parks semi-commando style for the first time in a long while since we will be going to parks with family who have never been during the first part of the trip. They have to get "their money's worth" out of their tickets! While we won't be with all of them the whole time, I know that our kids will want to be with their cousins most of the time.

Therefore, we are definitely looking for RELAXING - minimal parks, just hanging around the room/pool/resort and recharging our batteries before going back home/to work.

Arrgghhh! DVCer's have way too many choices!!! I'm thinking that we should probably stick with OKW but I'm so tempted by BWV & BCV. What do you all think?

How about VWL? You could do some of the fun things at FW campground, if you were so inclined, rather than going to parks.
January can be fairly cool. I wouldn't count on a lot of pool time, though you might luck out.

Actually, I purposely left out VWL as an option. We just got back from a trip to VWL this past June and want to go elsewhere next trip.

I agree that VWL is very relaxing. But I think that in January, we would prefer something more Floridian that wouldn't remind us of the cold winter back home in the North East!
