Yes, there is an elevator :)

You can get the wc up there via elevator--there is also a companion bathroom in the bottom of the castle! I would let WDW Dine know that you will have a WC and transfer is not optional--they will make sure you don't have to contend with stairs.

Congratulations and have fun!

I've had good luck with search lately, but it does turn off when the traffic level is too high. Anyway, the last time this was asked was quite a while ago, so it's good to come up again.
Like the others said, there is an elevator up to the dining level.
Once you get to the dining level, there are 2 levels, sort of like tiers. The top one is at the same level as where the elevator lets you off. The other tier is down a step (or maybe 2). I think they set it up that way so that everyone can get a view of the whole castle area and the windows (even if on the top tier). Like Piper said, you might want to call back and let WDW dining know that you will have a wheelchair. Remind the hostess when you check in too.
And, the accessible bathroom has a key that you get from the hostess if you need it. The only other bathroom is halway up the stairs on a landing.

Call reservations and let them know you are in a wheelchair so they can make sure to seat you on the upper level. Once you get in the restaurant there is the level you go in on and then a lower level with stairs. If they know in advance you won't have to wait so long to get in.

Congrats on the reservation.

We took my mom, and the elevator was great. We did have to sit in the upper level as there are steps to the lower (but the room isn't very big, so anywhere is fine). The elevator is smallish, though, so part of our party had to hike up the steps (grin).

We also got in the castle several times throughout the day for the companion restroom since it was in such a handy location. All the castmembers were wonderful.

Have a great time!
