Too lazy to do the math- When does the DDE pay for itself?

I believe I read that it's when you spend $250 on meals. I realized that counterservice meals were only about $10-15 cheaper per meal for our family of 4. The DDE was worth it for us.

20% of $250 is $50 so after $250 you start saving that 20%

I will order one for the $50 ap rate if it's worth it....
Sorry, I too lazy to do the calculation for you. But if you divide what you pay by the 20% discount you get, you should get your answer.

There are 38 days of school left and as a math teacher I can see that no one wants to do their homework...not even to go to Disney ;)

Multiply what you pay for it by 5. If you pay $50 the break even point is $250. YOu then save 20% on whatever you spend over $250.

If you pay $75 its $375.

Actually, if you pay the $50, the breakeven is at $234.74. Although tipping should be at the menu (pre-discount) price, Sales Tax is computed after the discount is taken.

I'm worried you might be too lazy to visit all those restaurants to actually hit the break even point! :badpc: :badpc:
But we got the card and used it in March on a 6 night stay with a party of 5 and it paid for itself quite well!

you can use your card for food there too......so we figured that we will save five dollars each morning ...we have ressies for three sit downs and a breakfast ....I think that it pays for itself...

Paid for itself the 1st night on our January trip, we were a party of 6, and apparently we were a bit hungry and very thirsty. I don't know about anyone else but I don't think I really saved any money (meaning brought any extra cash back home with me) but I sure did eat and drink better than I normally would. :teeth: You know it's like everything is on sale. I enjoyed things I normally wouldn't have been willing choose because of the price. I love the DDE card.

It's also good at the food court at POFQ, and I've heard it's good at the POR food court too :teeth:

Ours paid for itself during our Feb. trip. This one last week was money in our pockets (or the server's since we usually tip at least 20%)
