Too Late???

Hi all! I am getting really concerned about my maybe upcoming trip. My traveling group is unsure if they can go, there might be a family reunion in Holland the same time. We were planning to go the 20's of October, how late is too late to make reservations? We were also planing to stay at Coranado. Please tell me your honest opinons but I hope you won't scare me more.

you have to be paid in full 45 days out and have cancellation fees. I'd book in July at the lastest I guess.

you can do a room-only reservation. you only have to pay a 1 night's deposit, and pay the balance when you arrive, instead of being paid in full prior to your arrival date. they allow you to be able to cancel up to 5 days before your arrival date, and you can get a full refund - no cancellation fee.

if you get a 'package deal' (tickets, room, dining, etc) then you have a 45 day point before your trip where you have to have your balance paid in full. with this, if you have to cancel your trip you will have fees to pay.

but... coronado does book quickly though, because they have a lot of convention meetings going on there. so, it is better to try to get a room there now, and then cancel it later if you have to.
