We were planning on going in 2008, but decided to go the beginning of this May. Is it enough time?

I think so. We didn't plan our March 2007 trip until January 2007 and had no trouble getting room ressies or the ADRs and character meals we wanted.

Hi,If you told me I could go tomorrow to WDW then I would have it PLANNED by TONITE!!! ;) Planning is half the fun! :surfweb: Good luck! Joan

Sure!! It can be done. :thumbsup2

DH has a conference there in 3 weeks and we just found out about it a few weeks ago, so I have been in speed-planning mode. And on the DIS board EVERY DAY!

We had been planning for Nov 2007 when this trip came up. Isn't it great when you get to go sooner than anticipated? :goodvibes

I think it is going to work out to my advantage to not have so much time to second guess my decisions.

Have a great time!

YEP!! I just booked a few days ago for a March 4th trip! Waiting later will lesson your hotel availability, but May is a slower time ,so you should be fine. I went twice in May in the past, and it wasn't too crowded and we didn't wai more than 20 minutes for anything. Most were less than that. You will ahve fun!:cool1: :thumbsup2

I booked my trip for last July (week after the 4th) the last week of April. I got CRT, Crystal Palace, Donald's breakfast, Garden Grill and Rainforest Cafe at the times I wanted. We had a great first trip!

I just booked our mid-April trip two weeks ago and I got everything I wanted (even CRT) except for a ADR at Le Ceiller...oh well!
:cheer2:

Plenty of time! We booked our trip (2/11-2/17) on 12/30, and I was able to get pretty much everything that we wanted.

We're going in mid-May and really just started planning 2 weeks ago so I don't think it's too late. Would highly suggest looking at some of the offers available thru Disney now -- and also comparing what you need to the special deals. We're going to be at WDW for a week, but only still need reservations for 2 nights (have booked the other ressie). If we book a package for 2 nights and the upgraded tickets for 8 days it's about $1500, however if we book for 3 nights and the same tickets it's only $973 !!!

I realize that makes no economic sense, but I ain't complaining !! They have a Toddler/Pre-schooler package for 2 adults 1 toddler that requires a 3 night minimum which is cheaper (by about $500) than staying for only 2 nights, so I guess we'll stay 1 more night and get paid about $500 to do it !! Point is depending on the length of your trip and the deals available you may be better off booking the "deal" for 5 days even if you're only going to be there for 4.

Good luck -- see ya there !!

We decided to go on January 4th, for our trip Jan 13-21st!

We have never have done a trip on such short notice before! It worked out beautifully though...

You'll have plenty of time to make all your arrangements and plans!

Have a great time!

Not at all. Just made our reservations for the end of May a couple weeks ago. Now we're pretty laid back, very little planning type of people, so we're not going crazy about making all sorts of ADRs quite yet, but I've been looking through things, wondering and wishing and dreaming...

Go for it.

Not at all I booked the trip we are leaving in 2 days for on 1/31 , called back a week later and changed hotels and added 2 more days.
