Too late to change resort reservations?

We are set to arrive March 4th at CSR and I'm thinking of changing to POFQ or PORS.... is it too late and I wonder what the cost difference would be?

Go on MDE and check availability.

Definitely check MDE! I think the difference would be somewhere in the realm of $20 or so per night additional to stay at one of the Port Orleans just in my experience in booking the moderates.

That all being said, they have been working on upgrading the rooms at CSR and apparently they're quite nice, so it may be worth sticking with your current reservation for the sake of getting a brand-new room.

I'm very concerned about the construction etc... which bld are close to the large pool and away from the construction and is refurbished? (I can't navigate the nearly 400 pages of the other thread)

7A in the Ranchos was the first one completed. Ranchos are closer to the main pool than other locations, but a long walk to El Centro for food or the shop. Bus stops are all around the resort, 7A is closest to stop #3 across the parking lot which is the second stop the park bound busses make.

Other than a pretty close view of the tower construction as the park bound bus rounds that area, not too much disruption in views from any of the construction. Now and then a walkway would be blocked for 30 minutes or so while they moved a truck or equipment in and out of the area of the building currently being worked on but we found no other conditions that impacted our stay. Most of the building work is inside, and the building being worked on is completely closed to guests. No restaurants, pools, etc. are impacted yet and won't be for a while.

8A in Cabanas section is also done, but a little closer to the tower construction area than Ranchos.
