Too late for room request? 2 weeks to go

Is 2 weeks out too late to make a room request? We’re arriving in 2 weeks, staying at BLT. Right now online the only thing I checked off is high floor. Should I uncheck that and still try for a request?

I would call Disney Resort reservations and have any requests added now. I don't think that it is too late. AFAIK, rooms aren't typically assigned this far out. (unless something has changed recently)

I'm not sure why you want to uncheck high floor at BLT? If it isn't something that you want to request, then, yes, I would uncheck it now.

It doesn't hurt to sort out your requests and call as quickly as possible though.

I’d call and have my requests noted, I think they assign rooms a couple of days before arrival so you aren’t too late.

If you booked through DVC, the request will need to be added via MS. If you don't own those points used, the member you booked with will need to add the request. Otherwise, clicking a box with online check in is the best you can do. There isn't anyone you can call to add the request.

Thanks all. I can't call as we rented points, but I did send in a request through TP. The owner we rented from also noted the request when they booked for us, but that was about 10 months ago so I'm not counting on that.

If the owner actually did put in your request then it should still be there.

Lots of times DVC resorts just trash faxes. They have asked members not to bother with faxing in requests and to just add them to the reservation. If the owner did that, you should be as good as possible. It's just a request and isn't guaranteed anyway.
