Too late for good rate 1st of May?

Hi,
Is it too late for me to expect to get any discount for the 1st of May? I have AP, and husband just decided to take that week off of work. Do you think I would even be able to book a room anywhere? I would love a deluxe, but Moderate would be ok too. Any input would be great!!! Thanks!

Looks like there are discounts for AP, DC & AAA for the first week in May but you'll have to check for availability. At this point I don't think they will offer any more codes before then but I would still check either these boards or Mousesavers every day. ~~

I'm also trying to book discount resorts for my brother for April 30 & May 1. Haven't been able to find anything yet, but they don't have AP's or DC. Have you tried upsell/mgr. discounts. Your other option might be just showing up at the desk the morning of check-in and asking if they have anything available at a great rate. We did that with Dolphin and were offered an amazing discount for an upgraded room. I've heard others have been able to get discounts this way at Disney resorts.
