We've been on 3 cruises before but always during Jan/Feb. Is it too hot to cruise in June? We're thinking of a 5 night on the Dream with two Castaway Cay days. Thanks!

Define "too" hot. Some people are comfortable at 70 degrees, others can take 85.Is it too hot to cruise in June?

We did the southern Caribbean cruise in June. It was in the 90's with at least 90% humidity pretty much every day. Definitely fits your description, but I'd do it again. There's always somewhere to get out (into air conditioning) or a shady spot with a breeze on the excursions.High 90's and brutal humidity. Pretty much like every time I've visited Florida in the summer.
It's too hot for us. We cruised one year in July and August (due to being given a free cruise in July and an extended family cruise in August where my brother needed a date WHEN THE KIDS WEREN'T IN SCHOOL). Never again. The ship was nice and cool but the moment you hit port - crazy hot and humid.
Plus, I view it as why would I get away to somewhere warm when it's already warm at home? Of course, that's mainly because I live in the Great White North![]()
IMHO, yes, it can be too hot in the summer to enjoy warm weather destinations. The decks on the ship can burn your feet and so can the walkways at CC. However, the water at CC and other beaches feel great! We took an EC cruise a few Junes ago and we did not like the heat. We've been on 3 cruises before but always during Jan/Feb. How many CC stops did you make on that cruise? It's nice and cool on the Wonder during the summer months -- in Alaska. Just sayin.
