We are going the 1st thru 6th of July. I am wondering if everyone thinks it is too hot to eat soup in a bread bowl in July. Normally we eat 2 meals a day...usually one around 11am and one around 6pm or 7pm. We snack a little the rest of the time. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

All I can say is don't eat the soup then go on California Screaming, made me and my mom sick. I never get sick on Rollar Coasters but that made us both feel miserable we had to go back to the hotel for the night.

We believe it was a mixture of the cream soup, the Sun, and the motion.

Back when I went in March, it was in the 80s one day and I had soup. And I thoroughly enjoyed it!!! :thumbsup2 But just in case, I would suggest eating the soup for dinner. It can cool off considerably once the sun goes down (not always, but it's very possible) so soup for dinner would be perfectly acceptable. :goodvibes

Dobie Daughter eats the clam chowder in a bread bowl no matter how hot it is.

But it is too rich for me on a hot day...

That is what I am afraid of. Don't want to have to spend the rest of the day with an upset stomach. Maybe we can shoot for a late dinner that day and hope it cools down after dark.

If you are going to eat at the Pacific Warf Cafe you can also get a salad in the bread bowl. I has the chicken and apply salad which I liked but I will get the soups year around if I am in the mood I love the broccoli and cheese.

Southern California isn't always hot. I think your best bet is to see how the weather is when you get there and decide what you feel like eating.

We always eat soup at least 2-3 meals while we at the resort.
