Looking forward to booking our Florida hols for 17th May next year, when DH tried to call virgin to book up he was told it was too early  has anyone else encountered this problem?
Another question has anyone stayed at the Sheraton Safari Hotel Lake Buena Vista? Last year when we went we stayed at the courtyard in the marriott village, which was brilliant.:cool1:

I just booked a FlyDrive with Virgin for May 2008. You can definitely book those dates on their website... :thumbsup2

If it is flight only then yes too early, most scheduled airlines book from 336 or less days before your return date.

Claire ;)

thanks custardtart, before we called virgin we checked the internet but because we are frequent virgin club members we needed to call them to get our 10% off

I'm a FV too but still always book online. I know they only deduct 5% at the time of booking but you can get them to amend it to 10% later if they don't automatically. I usually book online as early as poss for peace of mind and the FV discount has always shown in my final statement - amazingly I've never had to hassle them... :cool1:

We booked direct with VH for August 2008 about 3 weeks ago.
1st time i called i got the dreaded indian call centre who told me i couldnt book, but the next time i called it was ok.
I think VA flights are booked 11 months before.

As Karen says you can book online they replace the 5% discount with 10%, all info is on their site. We always book online, but checkout flight only, packages seem a bit pricey for next year. If you have used Virgin before have you registered with VA frequent flyers, as well as VH, Miles and money have saved us about £2,500 this year. We are in Florida now cost £291+2000 miles each for Easter school hols was a bargain
