Please give me the pros and cons of eating at Tony's Town Square at the MK. This is the only sit-down at the MK we haven't been to and would like to try it next trip.

What is good on the menu? Who has had good service? Who has NOT had good service? Who would never eat there again? Who eats there every time they go to MK?

Thanks,
Angie

I know I am probably in the minority but we did not enjoy it. We ate there twice (the only reason we went back was because the party we went with wanted to go there). The menu is very, very limited. Not like a normal italian restaurant. They don't even have chicken parm !!! The service was okay but nothing spectacular. On the positive side, the atmosphere was great but that's not worth me going back!!!

We were there in Sept and were able to get in without PS for lunch. We were sick of eating counterservice food in MK.
It is all you can eat Italian style food. Not a buffet but they will bring you as much as you want of whatever you order.
It included appetizer, meal and dessert.
I had a field green salad (very good) and Pasta Primavera which I thought was good. Tiramisu for dessert was great.
DH had salad, and chicken parmigianna which he enjoyed. He had cheesecake for dessert but I think it was a little dry.
The kids were able to get buttered noodles which is their favorite!

The character interaction was good, but I don't think characters are still there since Crystal Palace is open now.

The servers made a big deal when someone celebrated an occasion and had everyone swinging their napkins.

Overall, we enjoyed it. It was a nice cool escape from a very hot day.

we went to tony's during thanksgiving & were able to walk in w/o a PS around 2:30p...food was ok...i'm vegetarian & they were really helpful with that....pooh & gang were there too. it was worth it at only $17 for lunch (10 kids)...but i would do it for dinner.

akrake:D

The characters are no longer there and they are back to an Ala Carte menu since CP reopened. We enjoy their Stromboli and Calamari app. Imho the sundried tomato pesto spread that you get with your bread would be great on pasta. We end up eating too much of it and can't finish our food. The Spaghetti and Meatball Imho is so so, but the meatball is huge. The Lasagna portion is also huge for lunch.(when available). Our service has always been good. Everyone has different tastes. It's not one my favorite Italian restaurants but its the atmosphere that goes along with it. If you decide to go,Get that arm ready to twirl your towel if there's a Bday in town.:)

If you love Italian food my advise is to skip Tony's. You will be very dissapointed.

We felt that it was overpriced, and the food not of high quality. We did like the theming (Lady and the Tramp), our kids loved getting the "pawprint" autographs, and it is kind of neat being in the MK.

But next time, we will try one of the other sit-down restaraunts.

I thought I read on another post that they have awesome cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Is this only sit-down or can you do take out?

We will be staying at the Contemporary next trip & was wondering if I could walk over & get some rolls (we have AP's). If not, does anyone know if you can get these "supposedly awesome rolls" at the Main St. Bakery?
