There have been some mixed reviews about Tony's, some even saying it was the WORST! The kids want to eat there, so, what is good in your opinion? Any recommendations???

Can you go for lunch instead of dinner? I can tolerate it for lunch, but dinner is awful. At lunch I just stick with a flatbread. We went for dinner before MVMCP last year and ended up at Casey's Corner for corn dog nuggets later in the evening since no one finished their bland, tasteless dinner... Such a shame too since it used to be pretty good. :sad1:

We thought it was fine. Most of the Italian stuff is on an Olive Garden type level. I actually got the steak and it was decent.

We ate at Tony's with a group of about 10 of us the night before our wedding, and my sister ate there with a party of 8 and both tables said all of their meals were great...my favs at our table were the catch of the day (salmon) and my Braised Lamb Shank on creamy polenta. It was so good!

My mother in law had granny smith sorbet which was such an awesomely unique dessert.

Also Tony's had some of the best service on our trip...

Don't always believe the review....I seem to be opposite to most, I love WCC, Tony's and many others that get "bad reviews" but didn't really like Ohana which people seem to love...you never can tell - try it out and keep an open mind!

I will agree that the braised lamb shank with creamy polenta is very good, I like the cheesy garlic bread for an appetizer, but the red sauce is sour and the service is hit or miss.

We just ate there last week- I was nervous too after reading all of the negative rewiews here. However, we were very happy with our meal there and plan to go again.

It was a very cute restaurant, we were seated before our ADR time, and our service was GREAT. We had the Chicken Parm and thought it was good. Dessert was really good too!

My daughter and I really like the Chicken Parmigiana at Tony's. We've had it for dinner twice now and it was very good both times, the last time was at the end of May. It's a very big portion and we always split it.

They have amazing calamari!

The food is similar to Carrabbas and Olive Garden. DH likes the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parm. I love the veggie lasagne and the shrimp scampi

I had the chicken parm and it was really good, and my DH had some kind of fish (I don't remember what it was, sorry!) and he loved it! And the desserts are amazing! :cool1: I don't understand people saying Tony's is terrible, it's not the best Italian food you will ever eat, but it is definitely good!

We like Tony's. Have always had good service and we enjoy the atmosphere. Much quieter than alot of WDW resturants. I like the Shrimp scampi and DH had the Chicken parm but after he tasted mine he said he would get the shrimp next time.

I always enjoy the chicken parmesan, and dh always enjoys some seafood dish or another - I don't eat seafood, so I don't really know what he's had there. Some nights are better than others at Tony's, but we still enjoy it there.

We ate there a couple of years ago and enjoyed it profusely.

We all had the steak and I know for dessert I got the lemon walnut layer cake and it was all delicious.

We also had a fantastic waiter....I think his name was Tony.

I always order the meatballs and spaghetti and I have neer been disappointed.

Tony's has always been one of our family's favorites. DD loves the chicken parmesan and son loves their steak. I had Gnocchi last time and did NOT like it at all - they were actually hard and chewy! But that was the only meal in years that was not great. Hopefully this was just a fluke as in all the years we've visited, everything we've every ordered was GREAT and I LOVE the atmosphere!

Tony's has always been one of our family's favorites. DD loves the chicken parmesean and son loves their steak. I had Gnocci last time and did NOT like it at all - they were actually hard and chewy! But that was the only meal in years that was not great.

You must have gotten a bad batch because I had the Gnocchi in May and they were very light and were really good.

DH is all about Chicken parm at almost any restaurant and he had this there and really liked it. Their Caesar Salad is pretty good too.

Love Tony's!! I always get the spaghetti and meatballs and honeslty it is good. My MIL is straight off the boat from Sicily and even she enjoyed it!

We like the steak (but then again I don't really eat anything with a red sauce)

I will say my boys ordered the spaghetti and both said that the sauce tasted funny to them so your kids my want to see if they can get a quick sample from the kitchen before they order it. My boys have loved the alfredo ravoli before

We had an awful meal so I couldn't say! The spaghetti was hard, sauce was awful...Maybe because we are of Italian descent and cook and eat a lot of Italian food at home...Maybe because we eat at a lot of authentic Italian restaurants here at home...But I couldn't say what's good there because our salad was not good, neither was the spaghetti and meatballs or chicken parm!
