I am on the fence for our MK plans.

BOG lunch we have done a few times and Skippers seems like it will be a bust. I'm thinking of trying Tony's instead. Does ANYONE like Tony's? I am considering it for lunch before we leave the park for a mid-day break. If not, maybe LTT again. Thanks. :)

I know lots of folks don't like Tonys but I didn't mind it last yr and we are going back in a few weeks as our evening TS.

We had it in 2014 and did not think it was bad at all. People seem to hate this place with a passion. I don't think it's any worse than Olive Garden. People say it tastes like bottled or canned sauce. I'm not extremely picky with Italian unlike a lot of people, but I thought it tasted a lot like Olive Garden Marinara (NOT their tomato sauce. Their marinara.). It's like a very thin, chunky and sweet sauce. My advice is look at the reviews on Trip Advisor .com. I think they are more unbiased, and a lot of the reviews are positive, some are not. It's not amazing Italian food, it's the same or a tiny bit better than you'll get at a quick service location. But we like to sit down for a while for lunch and recharge and it's perfect for that. If you go in with realistic expectations it's decent.

It's one of the few places we haven't tried, we went to the Plaza and Crystal Palace on the last few trips. I'm on the fence but may give it a shot. Maybe I'll put it up to a vote, lol, then I can't get blamed if no one cares for it.

Wow, we loved Tony's!!! I'll be writing a review on it (with pictures!) but it may be too late for you since I still have quite a few places on my list beforehand :)
(Dining review in my signature.)
We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the shrimp scampi. Also the fried zucchini (not sure that's what it's called but I don't have my notes in front of me). And the desserts were delicious!!
Also, we sat in the outer room near the windows and it was so well lit and just perfect!! :cloud9:

We've eaten dinner at Tonys the past couple of years and found it to be just fine. We usually get the chicken parm and pistachio creme brulee for desert. Like others have said compare it to Olive Garden. I would rather eat at MK than take the time to go to a resort to eat.

We enjoy Tonys, I really enjoy their pasta and their steak isnt' too bad.

We like Tony's. It's a cute restaurant & the food is good. Last time we went in Dec., my DD had one of the flat bread pizzas, I had a salad (so good), & my DH had spaghetti & meatballs. We all enjoyed our meals.

I am really torn but think we will give it a try. I enjoy trying new restaurants there and we've been in a real rut the last few years. Thanks everyone. :)

I love Tony's! I sat on the 'terrace' and watched the people walk by, and saw some people playing tic-tac-toe, and the food was fantastic! I got the margarita flatbread, and it was much better than the one I got at Mama Melrose's.

Go to Tony's!

Overall it's pretty much ordinary Italian food. Nothing special, but it's still pretty good. Definitely not a must do, but if you want to stay in the park and have some Italian food you won't be disappointed.
