How is it? I am looking for a good table service meal for lunch in MK or even the MK resorts. I already have plans for Crystal Palace, Kona Cafe and Grand Floridian Cafe. Should I go to The Wave intstead of Tony's? I am on the DDxP, so I am trying to make the most of my credits!:)

We went last Sept and thought it was good. Not outstanding but good. The restaurant itself was very nice and the service was good. I would go back. We both had the shrimp scampi which was just ok, next time Ill get the chicken parm..I hear thats pretty good

You'll get both ends of the spectrum, but DH and I personally love Tony's. We go every trip for lunch and it's always been great. Great atmosphere too!

I can't really be that much of a help because I think both places are very good.

At Tony's the zuchini fries are very good (appetizer) as is the chicken parm.

I've not had lunch at the Wave but at dinner, I haven't had anything that I wouldn't order again because everything we've tried was very tasty and well prepared.

Personally, we hated Tony's. Worst meal we've ever had on WDW property, hands down. But it gets very mixed reviews. I'm sure you'll get serveral more saying they loved it and several more saying it's aweful. It's a shame because the location is so great.

Although I haven't been, I would give The Wave a try before recommending Tony's.

Just my take. Good luck!

I have only eaten there twice - lunch was good and dinner was poor.

I had an ADR to go back in February for dinner but changed it to the Wave.

We ate there for the first time in January. We were able to get a walk up when the restaurant opened for the evening, and so decided to eat there. I really loved the decor inside and my food was delicious. I had Spaghetti with meatballs, and the portion was huge! :)

We ate there for the first time in December 2010. Loved the atmosphere, and the food was ok. Not in any hurry to go back, would rather eat at the Harbour House CS.

We ate dinner there in June 09. It was just OK. Not great. I probably wouldn't go back anytime soon.

Thanks to everyone! I appreciate the honest opinions. Now, I have to make a decision and hopefully an ADR!

We ate dinner there on our last trip. We both had chicken parm and shared an appetizer salad. Dessert was decent too. Food was good...don't expect anything fancier than Olive Garden. Nothing amazing, but a good solid meal. This time were hitting Tutto Italia for dinner and Via Napoli for lunch so we're giving Tony's a pass this time since we'll be italian'ed out.

I've always had good food at Tony's...try the zucchini sticks, really nice snack but not too heavy or greasy...have a great time!

I really like Tony's.... the food is very good but the service is slow... I'd say go with Tony's

The atmosphere is nice... the food is NOT as good as or anywhere near the quality of the Olive Garden. I would consider it cafeteria quality food in a nice setting. My son liked their calamari though.

In my opinion, it's one of the worst restaurants in WDW. It's loud, the set-up is barely better than the dining rooms in any of the counter service joints in the park and the food all tastes like it just came out of a microwave.

I'm not going to pay a premium just to sit down, which is what it equates to, since the food is certainly not an upgrade from counter service. If I'm going to sit, I'd rather leave the park via monorail and go to a resort to eat. That pretty much goes for any of the sit-down restaurants within the gates of the Magic Kingdom. It's kind of a sad state of affairs.
