I just booked an ADR for this restaurant because it was the only one available for the time & night that I wanted. Have you ever eaten dinner here? Was it good? What was your overall experience at this restaurant?

Personally we were very disappointed by Tony's. Now I might be biased being Italian and living near some of the best Italian eateries this side of the atlantic, but the food was mediocre at best and far from authentic Italian cooking. I would compare it to an Olive Garden on a bad night. I will say the theming and ambiance were nice, but when was the last time you left a meal saying "Man, that was some good ambiance."? :confused3

I had eaten at Tony's just recently and LOVED it! It had good portion, the service and atmosphere was great, and we left very happy -all in my opinion of course -I went for lunch around 2:30 and ordered the Baked Ziti. It was delicious. My friends ordered chicken parm. and loved it as well. Here are some pictures :)

Here are also some the desserts which were divine.

If you continue with your ressie to Tony's, I hope you enjoy it. ;)

My family of 6 ate at Tony's last Sept during free dining. I had made the ADR with some concern because of bad reviews, but DH likes Italian and I thought it would be convenient. It was very busy but we did not wait long, 10min tops. We were at the table with the window that looks onto the scene of Lady and the Tramp sharing spaghetti, very cute. Unfortunately this is where things down hill. Our waiter was nice but inattentive.....we were forgiving since it was busy. The food however was not good, and we are not picky at all. No one liked what they were eating. I sampled all of the dished and they were not tasty at all. It was quite disappointing and my dh refuses to ever eat there again. We loved the decor and the desserts were pretty good, but I would rethink this ADR if I were you.......perhaps Crystal Palace, Ohana, Kona, or Chef Mickeys all of these are excellent.

Disgusting. Do you not realize those pasta dishes are bought in from the market in boxes? It's not fresh pasta. They're overcooked and microwaved so that you're left with absolute mush. Even grandma without her dentures in can slurp up that mess of pasta. Freaking Uncle Ben's sauce and Prego and then we've got dried rotten garnishes and old herbs. It's vile. This restaurant, if it can call itself that, should be shut down. Even the cheese isn't freshly grated. It comes out of a store bought box. The deserts are also bought in and re-heated. It's frozen crap.

We have been to Tony's 4xs and have enjoyed it each time. The food has always been tasty and the service attentive. We love to get a dinner ADR @1 1/2-2 hours before Spectro so when we are done all we have to do to walk out to the porch and watch it go by! My DH & DS requested that we go back next year because its our family tradition! :thumbsup2

We ate at Tonys in Sept. The food was just ok. The service was good. We sat in the enclosed porch area and enjoyed looking out at Main St.

We ate there for the first time in July. My DS loved food. The rest of us thought is was okay. Nothing great. Actually, I didn't feel so great after I ate there. I found that what I ate had a lot of pepper on it for seasoning. It was too much. We could have just run into a bad night for the chef.

DW and I eat at Tonys every time we are at WDW. We love the food and the service is the best. We even had our honeymoon and anv dinners at Tonys. The servers had always bent over backwards to serve DW and I. Like I told DW the other day. I will always eat there because if it is good enough for Tramp & Lady it`s good enough for me. Tramp know where to take his lady for a great meal. Tony and Joe cook up a super meal. That`s my story and I`m sticking to it.

I had dinner there last November and loved it. Their spinach and artichoke dip is wonderful and you have to order the lemon walnut cake. What I'd give for a piece of that cake right now!

I had the lemon walnut cake last month! It was a huge piece and didn't get to finish it because I wanted to get outside to see Spectro!
Always get the spaghetti & meatball entree (ala Lady & Tramp!)
BTW I have heard if you ask, a CM will get Lady & Tramp's autographs (paw prints) for you!

:cutie:

We have eaten here many times, with many people. We have always had wonderful service and the food has always been great. We have had parties of 2, 4, 7 and 10. No matter what it's always been the same great service. The first time we were there we ordered our steaks med-rare and they were a little under cooked, our waiter took them right back and cooked them a little longer and they were amazing. Their eggplant dish is amazing also, unfortunately they changed it a little last October, it was still really good but just not as good as the first time I had it. Also when we were there last October, our waiter was the best we have ever had anywhere. Our glasses weren't even close to being empty and we had refills.

As with any restaurant, you have to try it for yourself to see if you would like it. Not everyone has the same taste!!
