Going to WDW in Dec and we will be in the park for the VMMCP. Looking at having dinner in the park and the only thing we can get in is Tonys Town Square. Just wanted to know how this place rates?? Thanks

OK - it does get a lot of mixed reviews. But DH and I had our anniversary lunch there and service was great, the set up of the restaurant was great (we were on an airy indoor windowed room), and the food was good and filling.

Gourmet ... no, but good. Salads were good (ask for dressing on side), DH got baked ziti and said it was good. I got spag and meatballs. Sauce is sweet but tasty. I am not a big meat eater and the meatballs were huge. I ate one and it was good. We got a walnut layer cake which I am not sure they have anymore. It was OUTSTANDING.

Anyway ... I would not hesitate to go back. Wonderful atmosphere! Actually one of the quieter restaurants we ate at in WDW. :thumbsup2

I agree with the previous poster. Not gourmet, but good. Tony's is one of the first ones the kids pipe up with when we ask where they'd want to eat.

Besides, who doesn't need a little Lady and the Tramp romance injected into their vacation? Make sure you and your sweetie share a spaghetti noodle!

We really enjoyed Tony's when we went in June. I agree with the above posters-- it's not extravagent, but it was nice. Ask to sit on the porch area where you have a great view of Main Street!

We love it! The calamari was really good and we both had a great new york strip! The service was excellent!

I eat at Tony's everytime I go with my family to WDW. The food is always good and the I love the decorations and picture from Lady and the Tramp.

Table Service at the MK is limited but Tony's is okay. It is over priced but then most table service places are in WDW. If you are on the DP then one credit is not bad to have to use here. As long as you are not expecting fine dinning you should be fine.

We just ate there on Halloween. There were 7 of us and 6 of us had the spaghetti with meatballs or sausage which tasted so good after days of steak and prime rib (crazy how that happens). We were going to MNSSHP and had 4:40 reservations. Between the bread, soup and the spaghetti we were full for the rest of the evening. This was our second Halloween at Tony's but not our last. For Disney, I felt the price was right.

My family loved dinner at Tony's on our trip last Thanksgiving week! We all had spaghetti and meatballs and watched Spectromagic parade go by as we ate. DS still talks about how much he enjoyed that meal!
